Oh sure, the tee sign indicates a straight line to the basket, but there ain't one. There's a severely tight line that goes left to right, but locals know there's a bigger and more open line that favors rhbh hyzers now. walk up at peek at it: you'll see it goes all the way to the basket, once you get past the first couple of trees.

Hole 7 plays longer than it seems for some reason (slightly up slope? a little too tight for comfort?). RHBH players will want to throw a fairway or driver straight up the gut, aiming to fade just at the small tree just over 220' up the center of the lane.

Dastardly tight straight or to the right, the best line on 6 is definitely left side, left to right glide, so the hole favors lhbh or rhfh throwers with control. My rhfh is pretty unpredictable, but I try my flat flying teebird here (with little success). Next time I come, I'm going to try throwing my Fuse flat out on the left side line to see if it will turn and glide better than I've done in the past.

Steeply downhill, with a dropoff to the creek just beyond, most folks try to keep a putter on a low line going just barely to the right. The trouble is there's a tree about 2/3rds of the way down that a lot of folks hit. 'Local route' tip: it's possible to swing a rhbh hyzer out to the right that can ace run it, but risky: skip to creek? Also watch for folks on the 6th tee if you try this.

Ace run, pure and simple, with the uphill sloping green stopping most overthrows, the purest line is JUST missing the skinny tree just past the bridge. Your putter or mid that can hold a line (like a Comet) is the disc of choice here.

Lots of downslope and left to right, most right handers with a decent forehand can ace run this hole, while we rhbh dominant folks have to anny, say, a Comet, or have a Fuse turn over & glide. Two risks to the hole are cutting in to the thick early (there's enough to protect the next tee, though), or ace running and gunning it long into the thick downhill beyond the basket.

Playing just a few feet longer than hole 1, #2 is slightly less risky for left handers (lhbh) or forehanders (rhfh), who can get their disc to fade into the hill, while right handers (rhbh) need to play a little more conservatively out to the right, or risk their fade gliding down the slope for a long comeback.

The only challenge on hole 1 is that big arms tend to overthrow it into a headwind and run beyond the OB path. I don't have a huge arm, so I can pull out a trusty Stag and use its dependable fade to the finish.
