Not a bad play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 7, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Quick to play, variety of holes, somewhat challenging.

Cons:

The walking pathes that mar part of the course are horrible and right now the course is pretty much unplayable until they get it cleaned up.

Other Thoughts:

Hole 1 plays up the hill to the right with the only opening to the hole being from the right. Best approach is to throw it long and straight and play it through the trees. Hole 2 plays straight through a narrow fairway. Best approach is to grip it and rip it straight down the fairway. Hole 3 plays straight but uphill then downhill through a very tight fairway. Best approach is to play it right to left but you can play it left to right it kind of depends on whether you want to putt uphill or downhill. Hole 4 plays straight and downhill, short and an easy 2. Best approach is to take a putter or a mid and through it straight. Hole 5 plays dogleg right past a group of trees then up a hill. best approach is either right to left around the trees or left to right but you will have a nice uphill putt. Hole 6 plays straight but is located on the side of the hill with the pin being on the top to the right. Best approach is to play it left to right and try to end up on top of the hill for a straight second shot. hole 7 plays straight but you have to approach it from the left and curl it right to have any chance of a two. hole 8 plays to the left, up hill then back down hill. best approach is to play the hole left to right around the trees. Hole 9 is the longest hole on the course and plays straight until the end of the hole where it doglegs left. best approach. Grip and rip. stay to the right because of the marshy area at the end of the fairway. Hole 10 is a straight hole with the pin surrounded by a group of trees. best approach, play it right to left or left to right, there is an opening on both. Hole 11 is downhill to the right a bit but it plays mostly straight through the trees. best approach is to play it right and let it glide left. Hole 12 plays straight through the trees. Best approach is to drive it straight down the fairway. Hole 13 is a very short straight fairway. Best approach is to take a putter and keep it low right to left. if you throw to hard you will end up in the street. Hole 14 plays uphill and then straight. Best approach, You can either play it left to right or you can throw it high and right and let it come down hard left. Hole 15 plays straight and used to have a tree right in front of the hole but that tree fell during our massive wind storm. Best approach is let it fly and make it straight. Hole 16 plays straight but the fairway is located on a hill that slopes to the right. Best approach is to stay left on top of the hill so you have an easier second shot and not have to stand on the hill side to throw. Hole 17 plays straight and down hill. Best approach is to play it from right to left. Keep it low over the hill and let it glide down. Hole 18 plays uphill and to the right a little bit. Best approach is to play your drive to the right a little bit so you have an easier second shot.
