If you can get your disc high enough, a spike hyzer, thumber, or tomahawk over the tree line in front of the short tee is a much more open option than trying to pure a lower gap through the tree line. Make sure you double check the pin location being used before throwing a particular style; the field past the tree line is wide open, but throwing the right style of shot can mean the different between being parked and having a long run for a birdie.

The fairway slopes down as you get closer to the basket, and there's a significant valley behind the pin. Be careful with how much power you put behind your drive off the tee, as strong drives that don't hit anything could end up going pretty far past the pin down the hill.

The road to the left is an obvious obstacle to avoid, but also make note of the path that goes into the woods to the right. It shouldn't come into play, but if your shot goes errant enough, keep an eye out to make sure no one is in the path your disc.

Wind on this hole can really play with drives. The road goes along the right of the fairway, and you'll also see a path along the left that takes a 90 degree turn to the left further up toward the basket. Early or late releases could hit either of these obstacles depending on the stability of your disc, so keep an eye out for cars or people if your drive is going off course.
