Pros:

Well-marked, well-maintained short course. Good signage throughout. Some open holes especially the first few. Usually there's a fun line to try for on each. Several chances at an ace.

Cons:

A couple holes are pretty tree-filled and tough to find a good line. Might be muddy on a wet day.

Other Thoughts:

A gem in a small town. Someone has put a lot of effort into making this an excellent course and it shows. Now it is an 18 hole, back nine was built sometime in 2019 I think.

Pros:

Very smart layout. Definitely made the most of what was there. Challenging short holes, and a couple longer more open holes. More benches and trashcans than most 18 hole courses.

Cons:

Tee pads were a tad small but were adequate for the hole length. Not much negative to say about it.

Other Thoughts:

Marquette is a bit out of the way but worth the trip if playing a nearby course. You will not regret playing this one.

NICE!! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 15, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Millennium baskets
Concrete pads
Nice mix, challenging for a nine hole
Lots of shot shaping required
Steps and bridges all in the right places
Fairly easy to navigate with nice walkways through out

Cons:

Only nine holes. So fun I wanted more.
Hole 4 and 5 could use a little trimming. Not much maybe a small tree or two.

Other Thoughts:

Really fun course wish they had more baskets even just a few. It was challenging with out being overwhelming great basket placement. Pads were short but plenty sufficient for the length. Some nice risk/reward shots. I will be returning several times. Good job Marquette!!👍🏽👍🏽

Fun Course! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 8, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

• Tee signs
• Benches at every tee
• Trash containers on course
• Fairways cleaned up well of tree undergrowth and unnecessary trees
• Minimal trouble with little stumps of growth that was
removed
• Flows pretty well and Next Tee markings on the new signs
will good
• Baskets
• Good steps up and down where needed

Cons:

• No course sign/map
• I don't live closer
• Wish the tee pads were just a bit longer
• At the same time, they are fairly level with the ground
and I could start of the back end with no problem

Other Thoughts:

• Could maybe thin out some trees in a couple of fairways, but
with that said, I was able to find a line to every basket. You
have to be accurate with your throws.
• By Hole 7 the second time around I was already looking
forward to the next time I could throw here

Pleasant surprise 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 4, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Unique use of land available. Varied fairways and shots. Couple of holes rewards a riskier shot by carrying noticeable stretches of out-of-bounds. A lot of work went into making course navigable. Steps, retaining walls, bridges all put in that gives the course a very finished feel.

Concrete tee boxes. Color signs (although not sure how long they will last). Nice baskets. Has trash cans.

Cons:

Tee boxes could be longer.
A couple of the holes seem to be a tad bit 'poke and hope', but the ones that are this way are short.

Other Thoughts:

I was very impressed with how well the course looked and played on opening day. Played it three times in a row. First round was 'wow'. It will give you experience for playing risk/reward and tunnel low ceiling shots.

As the day progressed, a couple of holes really proved to much more difficult than first realized.
