Pros:

- Variety of shots required, R>L, L>R, small S curves.
- Most holes are tight and technical
- Good signs at each tee as well as next tee arrows where appropriate makes navigation easy. There was no map on DGCR, but it definitely wasn't needed due to the great signage.

Cons:

- Course is very short, most under 200, lowest 126 with only 2 over 250 (267 & 420).
- Although most holes were mowed appropriately (or through dense enough woods to not require it), 2 fairways were completely overgrown. 7 had fairly high weeds but it is short enough that it shouldn't be an issue...unless you hit one of the many trees. Hole 8 on the other hand was a complete mess. It is a 420' shot down a power line easement. The fairway is plenty wide with nasty brush on either side (which is fine). The fairway itself, however, was ENTIRELY covered in thigh high grass. Felt like the fairway was through a hay field and it made finding shots even dead center fairway to be a pain to find.
- Natural tee pads for all holes, although they were dry and in decent condition.
- Location. It is really in the middle of nowhere and not really on the way to anything.
- Don't forget the off...lots of mosquitos

Other Thoughts:

I was able to get in 2 rounds on this as my family were (sorta) passing through the area. My wife, son, & I had a good time, it is a fun little course. Definitely a putter / mid heavy course as I used my putter off the tee more than any other disc. Even with the short distances there are actually only a few easy ace runs as most (not all) of the short holes have very protected baskets. If only it were closer it'd get a lot more play but it just isn't worth the drive by itself. If you are in the area, however, definitely swing by and get a quick game or 3 in.
