Desert canyon golf set above a top 50 world travel destination (Valle de Guadalupe, MX.) Mostly technical, short lines with some par 4. Back 9 exists using same baskets with different tee pads. Next closest course in MX is several hundred miles away, making this place absolutely precious. Private land, owner is super cool and stoked to have players enjoy the course. Formerly a school for the deaf, some buildings have been converted into AirBNB units.

Homemade baskets installed in the 90s-- I don't see this so much as a con than a requirement for finesse putting. Rugged terrain, getting off fairway is hazardous to your socks (and motivation to hit your line!)

Had a memorable round there, can't wait to play it again!
