Pros:
I think this is probably the only 4.5 rated course in the UK.
This course has it all. Elevation, distance, tight wooded lines, multiple layouts, beautiful scenery, decent facilities and toilets and a fantastic, enthusiastic local community.
I love it and plan to travel 4+ hours to play it at least 4 times this year.

Cons:
There's some inconsistency in teepads, but most are good.
The cafe and toilets are somewhat seasonal (at the watersport centre) and can be expensive for what you get if it's open. Good though!

Other Thoughts:
Play it! The full layout is pretty hard too, par probably playing to 960 rating which is far above average in the UK
