Red Arrow park is a short ways off of Hwy 29 and serves as a good place to stretch the legs out and toss some discs if traveling through central WI.

The course is right across from the high school and for the most part shouldn't be too busy. It's a pretty tiny park in a pretty small town.

The baskets are Mach V's. These are all in solid shape and catch nicely even after 15 or so years in the ground. 3 baskets total, but laid out as a functional, albeit wonky layout.

The park itself is pretty clean and generally not real busy.

There are/were tee signs with basic hole info on them. Nothing special, but serviceable in a pinch for a course like this one.

The design is congested here. But there's actually some pretty fun shots. It's a wonder they were able to fit "9" holes in here but they did.

To start, It's 3 baskets placed in a sliver of the park, which mostly consists of a baseball field. Criss crossing fairways throwing at the same 3 baskets from different angles.

The tee signs used to be pretty helpful. That was 15 years ago when it was new. There are maybe 3 left standing today. The map on DGCR is very helpful in getting you to the right spot for the intended "tee".

There's a playground that can come into play on hole 8. The outfield fence is in play on a hole or two as well. The one hole has you throwing through/around the frame of the scoreboard for the baseball field. Pretty awful.

As har0140 said prior, this wouldn't be ideal if the course was busy. The course essentially is made up of crossing fairways. You're main concern won't be other disc golfers, just other park users.

No tees and next tee signage make playing this without a map nearly impossible currently. It's basically safari golf anyway, but you'll get 9 holes out of using a map.

This course has been around for 15 plus years and still isn't even on Udisc. That speaks volumes about it's quality, and the quality of the disc golf in Colby/Abbottsford. It's there, but barely. I was the one who added the Colby HS course last year after finally exploring the property after seeing a basket by the football field many times when heading up to Hwy 29. Turns out there was a 9 hole course there too (also not on Udisc).

This course is actually better than Colby HS which has 9 baskets and is more wooded. Red Arrow is more park style on a tiny scale. Colby is unmaintained woods golf where you'll lose discs, bleed finding them and possibly get Malaria.

Red Arrow is nothing to go out of your way to play. But it does serve it's intended purpose of serving as a PE activity for students and serves as a decent course/practice area for locals. Bring up the DGCR map on your phone and it's a quick 30 minute or so play. As long as it's not busy.
