Pros:

Tube-tone targets are ok for this course. They are less intrusive to campus, and there is only one blind pin (4, and I doubt you'll be running it with cars ten feet away). A very nice map (on the back of the course sign, also linked here on DGCR) points out the tees, which would be very hard to find otherwise. Each target is nicely painted with the hole number, facing the tee.

Cons:

Most targets are placed very close to manmade obstacles like sidewalks, parking lots, fences, and walls. There are not many obstacles in the air. Most fairways are in water drainage areas. Most fairways cross others. The course is not a loop. The tee markers seem like they could easily be vandalized or moved. Need I go on? This course has enough problems that they almost erase the fun completely.

Other Thoughts:

The best parking is probably on Grove St. near pin 9. Of course that is nowhere near the beginning of the course.
