-Plenty of parking
-Nice grass on some holes and pretty scenery
-Smells like nature
-Some narrow fairways, if you like that kind of thing
-Colorado River -- Cool!

-Signage could be better
-In summer, mosquitoes have short season near the river. One dive bombed me, even though I had deet on. Carry "After Bite" or some other after bite stuff.
-Can be very hot in summer

I only had time to play 4 holes, but if I lived here I would play often. The course was a challenge for an intermediate senior player like myself, so I would enjoy getting better here. It's awesome to be able to play on the Colorado River.

The course plays through a flat area along the Colorado river and a parallel irrigation ditch. There are Open fields and large stands of cottonwoods and other trees mixed throughout the course. There is a great mix of holes through the trees for more technical challenges, and long open holes to test your long drives.

The course has very nice tee pads. All are large concrete pads, which were in great shape when I played. The course has adequate signage, and was very easy to follow. There was never a question of where to go next, or where you were shooting off the tee, even on the longer holes. The layout made sense, and had a nice flow with nine holes leading away from the parking lot, then nine playing back.

The course tests all kinds of shots, and had some interesting challenges throughout. A few holes have water in play, from a small pond to the Colorado river. These holes made for some cool risk/reward decisions. The holes with more trees seemed to be a decent mix of right and left turning, and there were plenty of straight ahead open field shots.

The park seemed very nicely maintained, from the course amenities to the landscaping. It's clear that the park and locals have worked together to make a very nice course here.

There is no elevation to speak of on this course, though on one of the open field holes the basket is on a raised mound. There are also fewer holes than I expected where the river comes into play. The river makes a great hazard, and I wished that it was used a little better on the back 9. There were also a few too many wide open shots for me, though at least they were long enough to be challenging for the most part.

There was a walking path that wound through much of the back 9, and I could see this being an issue if heavily used. It was not on the day I played, so it wasn't a big deal, but watch out for other park users on busy days. There was also a little bit of a walk back to the parking lot after 18, but nothing major.

The course is extremely easy to get to, so if you're on 70 anywhere near here stop by for a great round of disc golf. The course is accessible to beginners as long as they stay out of the brushy area around the irrigation ditch, and has enough longer and tougher holes to challenge more experienced players. I would definitely recommend stopping here to anyone who's in the area.
