The course has good potential. I liked the layout and I didn't think it was confusing or cramped. There is a combination of wooded holes with obstacles and OB's (#1, #3, #4, #5, #7), and other holes that were more open (#6, #9). The course has wooden that act as tee box markers. The tops are cut at 45 degree angles that point toward the basket of the next hole. My dad and I had no problem finding the baskets because of this feature and the good course layout. Some of the markers can be harder to find, but if you keep your eyes open, you can find some of the markers while you're on other holes so you will know where they are later. There is also a practice basket near the east side of the parking lot close to the first tee stake.

There are no signs or maps on the course to help guide you if you're a first timer. There was a big wooden sign near the first tee that may have once had a map and instructions, but when we played it was completely bare. Most of the baskets also have no numbers on them and even though you can figure the course out without too much trouble, numbers would be nice. We did manage to find a few with numbers and other with imprints of where numbered stickers used to be on the top of the baskets. The baskets were crudely homemade with plastic garden edging as rims on the top and bottom, hand twisted wires holding on the chains, and hose clamps holding the spokes on. Some baskets set very low in the ground, and the basket part of some are leaning a bit, and your disc can fall through the spokes on the bottom. But, they're still very playable. Despite these small issues, the baskets are a little larger than average which I enjoyed very much.
There are no tee pads and you have to throw from the grass by the tee markers. When we walked up to hole 4's tee, we noticed volleyball players playing just left of the fairway, and a baseball field capable of accompanying more innocent bystanders positioned just right of the fairway. Also, #8's tee sign was leaning against a tree and looked like the mowers set it aside and forgot to put it back. This brings me to the biggest negative of the course, the mowing of it. My dad and I live fairly close to the course and greatly desired to play it. However, we drove by the course for weeks, but the grass was always knee high! Finally, we saw it was mowed and took the opportunity to play. We found an enjoyable course and wished it had not been out of commission most of the summer. Lastly, the stickers in the grass are terrible. Every time we play i get them all over my pants, shoes, socks, and bag.

If the course could get some numbers on the baskets, signs by the tee markers, and be mowed more often, it would be a much better course. There are a lot of OB parking lots, roads, and a fence that runs on the left of #1, the far side of #6, and the right side of #7. #5 hole had a tricky basket placement by the corner of an OB street, and a low log fence. Hole #4 and #5 had good grass on them because they are beside a sports complex. Unfortunately, the rest of the course was badly infested with stickers. The course is really easy to find because it is just off Meridian and the 96 /235 overpass. If you drive past the course, you will see the baskets on the west side of Meridian. There is a whole parking lot that appears to be designated for the course which I imagine is almost always empty, making a fun, uncrowded round.
