Nice fairways, nice baskets. Didn't see any shady people at all(unlike the other reviewer), just a nice couple walking their dog.

Needs "next tee" signs or map. Couldn't find holes 2-4.
Rough is really rough (lost a disc on 9).
Smells of sewage.

Hole 1 is at the end of the lot on the left.
Nice short course. Needs signage though. Consider bringing a nose plug.

Mostly tight "corridors" of trees forces accuracy and creative thinking

Good for novice players, but a bit boring for vets.

Benches and tables at two holes to rest, wait, and eat lunch at.

Be prepared to bushwhack

I've heard this course sometimes referred to as "sh!+'s creek" because of the odor near hole # 1, and because it seems run down. You barely get to see the river, which is more like a creek, so don't worry about losing discs in the drink. The signage is an absolute joke. It would make no difference if the signs were removed, because they are all the same, just with different distances listed. The tees aren't in the worst shape but could use some upkeep work. You may see some junkies/sketchy people hanging around here, and wherever there are junkies, trouble follows. However, we ran into one such looking couple and there small child who asked to play with us. Turns out they were really nice people, family oriented, and great players who gave us some decent tips. Just goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover. I don't want to make it sound like its a terrible place because its not all bad, just not that good. Yetter's Park is far superior, and its actually on a rivers edge. Since its right off the exit River's Edge is worth a play, just come with lowered expectations and you might just have a good time. Bring a spotter. Peace.

9 holer that features some elevation change, uttilized the trees well. 8 x 4 gravel tees. 1-4 were moderatley wooded, 5 was wide open, 6-8 were moderatley wooded. 9 was half open half wooded. No other people around.

Empty Kiosk and no maps. Signage was just plain wrong. Signs say that the holes are 200-300 yards instead of feet. Sign 7 said the hole was a straight 187 foot hole with a slight left fade, but it was a 250' sharp right curve, but with no mando posted you could just stand in the tee pad sideways and have a straight shot.
There was a "Next Basket" sign 20 feet from basket 6 pointing at the basket. This sign NEEDS to be moved to a better location, maybe leading to hole 2 or 9. A lot of time was wasted looking for the next hole, all holes need a small arrow leading you to the next hole.
Course was muddy, tee pads were very muddy and slippery.

Tee 1 was behind 2 large stones on the left of the parking lot. It was a slightly uphill shot with no signage to guide you to hole 2. For hole 2 cross the road bare right, and the tee is immediately on the left. 2 is a straight downhill shot. 3 is flat and straight. 4 has a 5-10 foot raise in elevation. 5 was a short wide open hole just under 300 feet. Hole 6 was a 243 foot blind straight shot with a slight right.
Hole 7 was a sharp right, or if you stand sideways in the tee I guess you could throw it straight at the basket (No mando marked). Hole 8 has really cool pillars, but they do not come into play at all.
Hole 9 was very difficuly to find and was an attempt at a signature hole. It was just short of 500 feet with the tee up on the hill with numerous trees blocking your way to 200 feet of wide open space to the basket. To get to hole 9, back track to basket 7, then cross the road and you will see the tee pad on the hill side.
If you are in this area, I would suggest you visit Yetter. It is far higher quality and only 1 exit (10 minutes) away. If you still decide to check out the course it is on the right about 1/2 mile past the visitor center.

If your on I 80 as you approach the PA NJ border take 30 minutes to stretch your legs and arm and play a quick nine. A fun little technical course that has a bit of everything. 2 open holes. 1 longer hole. hyzer/anhyzer plenty of technical woods and a few fairways well cut through dense woods. Some fun undulating terain. A unique pin placement next to some old concrete foundations. Not overly challenging but has enough difficulty to make you think and test your skills. seconds off route 80 and theres a unique bar around the bend maybe 200 feet from course. Tee boxes with gravel and all holes are well marked. Not too hard to navigate. Great place to work on short game. 8 and 9 are pretty cool holes to finish on. 18 hole Yetter is nearby. Quiet and peaceful forrest.

It's not a destination course. It is short, just 2355 ft for 9 holes. No information available/no kiosk or signs. No bathrooms but it is a quick nine you can hold it or find a tree. Haha. The tee signs lead me in the wrong direction a few times and the distance is in yds incorrectly, rather than feet. Squeezed into park parcel so it's not real big. No major elevation. No water in play. It is in a floodplain, may be prone to flooding.Nitpicking here. It is what it is a short fun technical Pennsylvania course.

A practice basket and some information/maps would be a plus. I think the course could use a bit of a redesign to utilize some of the unique features more. Even so,I really liked this place. With a few tweaks it could be one of the better niners out there. I played in a january ice storm so my footing was non-existent....even so I still liked it. I also found 5 bucks in the middle of the woods. Score! Note to First timers--Hole 1 is at the rear of the lot....The basket you see to front of the lot is basket for hole 9. Yetter is a far superior course and only a few minutes away. I'd play them both if in the region. This one is the perfect quick stop if your on I-80 and need a break from the road as it is literally 15 seconds off the highway.
