Pros:
-Course employs multiple techniques to utilize a small footprint including nice dog-legs, protected pins, elevation, and a few longer holes to air it out.
-Great Dynamic Discs baskets installed in 2017.
-Good signage on each hole and at the course start. First time playing I only got turned around once.
Cons:
-No formal teepads, muddy ruts near the hole signs make it hard to plant and drive.
-Longer cut grass in spots might be rough to navigate in the summer, some muddy/wet areas in lower elevation areas.
-Course runs near athletics fields and the cross country track of Biddeford HS. I saw a few groups of kids running around the course but we didn't cross paths.
-Only 9 holes
Other Thoughts:
This course makes very good use of the available land and has sweet new baskets. While it's overall short and probably wouldn't challenge a great player, it's got plenty to keep the rest of us busy. Good location in Southern Maine, close to 95 and Biddeford with a couple solid restaurants and breweries. Nice views of the Saco River, easy parking, and varied holes means I will be back!
