The course is set in a nice park with a ton of beautiful mature trees and rolling terrain. There are level and grippy concrete tees for each hole. One set per hole. They're a bit on the narrow side but are ok here. The course offers a plethora of uphill, downhill and across the slope shots. The course was mowed nicely and the park generally seemed clean for such a busy course. The baskets were all in pretty good shape and caught well. All holes had at least 2 pin placements with many having 3 and quite a few having 4 placements. The river in the background is pretty picturesque where you can see it. The course starts and ends near the parking lot which is always nice. Especially if the front 9 is packed it's easy to start on 10 and play it that way.

The overall feeling of playing this course gets old by the halfway point. And it's the same thing on the back half. It's just a very repetitive feeling course. It seems like the same hole over and over. The tee signs were also pretty useless. It shows all 3 and sometimes 4 pin placements on the map. That's great. I doesn't show what position the pin is actually in though. So you still have to wander until you see it. Kind of irritating. Apparently this place gets real busy. It wasn't when we were there before noon on a Thursday, but I can tell it gets played a lot by the worn grass between baskets and tees. There are also a few safety issues here with tees being right in the line of fire from other tee pads. There is plenty of room here for 18 holes without overlap. It wasn't designed the best in this regard.

For all the hype this place gets I was less than impressed. I played River's Edge, Calvary Hill and Millstream the days as this. I'd pick Calvary over this just barely. At least the wooded holes there offer some fun tight lanes where accurate shots are rewarded. And Millstream was just way better than this place overall with the exception of the first 5 holes. If you're in the area with minimal time I'd skip this and pick one of the other 2 I mentioned or even better Hidden Lake or Sportsmans Hill. Unless 18 repetitive park holes are your style, then this is your spot.

Good course for experienced players and a true test. There is a drinking fountain and bathroom building which is nice. The course flows fairly well too.

Some of the holes (particularly #4 with the razor sharp fence) have some pretty bullshit ways to lose your disc and then spend a lot of time trying to recover it. It's not terrible, but it could be a little less annoying. Another con you walk up and down hills constantly and it can get irritating after a while.

It's a bit of a drive for most disc golfers, but overall the course is pretty good. It's not the most memorable course, but it offers a challenge for players of all levels.
