Pros:

Peaceful park along the Red River making for some picturesque views.
Variation of holes has straight shots as well as basket locations to the left and right.

Cons:

Horribly marked, you'll spend most of your time searching for the next tee or basket.
No tee pads, just the normal grass of the park.
Baskets are a bit beat up but work fine.
Number plates on top of baskets aren't pointed towards the tee, so you don't know which basket to throw at.
Holes have a post with a piece of paper showing hole number, par, and distance, but they don't show an arrow or anything to help you find where the hole is.
Hole #6 doesn't have anything on the post, but it's a bend to the left over the swampy area about 280 feet.
Overhanging branches make some shots from the tee impossible.

Other Thoughts:

This course has a lot of potential. It needs trimming, concrete tee boxes, better signage and direction. The view of the river at the first basket is breathtaking.

Pros:

- Nice, quiet, grassy park with trees and river views
- Terrain is undulating grass which adds texture
- Signs with distance stated

Cons:

- No tees, just poles with a number, par and distance but they dont show direction of play or basket location.
- Baskets are old and bent but not rusty
- Throw line is marked by two small flags stuck in the grass
- Looks like this course is under construction.
- Hole 6 is missing its number
- Tee 7 is in a strange place. Should be near basket 6 but it's not. Instead it requires a good walk.
- Tee 8 is also oddly placed, requiring needless walking back toward tee 7
- The course is not visible from the parking lot. It's hidden by the levee
- Hole 1 requires walking left a good distance and guessing because nothing says: "Hey, I'm over here!"

Other Thoughts:

Could be a really nice course because its a peaceful park along the river.
