Pros:
I get to the area a couple times a year and, while this isn't my absolute favorite course, it is a nice play.
Follow the signs for the canoe launch. First hole is between that and the skate park.
For an area Paul Bunyan whammed with his shovel, the designers managed some nice use of elevations. These run to the tee or basket being higher, rather than much up or downhill, but they used what they had well. You'll need to throw a lot of different shots to play this one.
I'd rank some of the open holes as bombers, but I am a noodle-arm senior citizen. Take that into account. This is NOT a big-arm course. Pars are attainable/fair for average players.
Parking is great. Just park at the end of the skate park lot. Porta-John right there
Signage is good. Rough can keep you searching, but for a fairly new course, it is fine.
As far as traffic goes, I've played a half-dozen times there, and never saw another player I didn't bring.
Cons:
Really, the only real downside is that it is only nine holes.
Is this a destination course? Definitely not, but it is a lovely, playable community nine-hole put together by people who knew what the area had andhow to use it.
