- BEGINNER FRIENDLY - A nice course to introduce a new player to the game. No overgrowth areas and the odds of losing a disc is limited to the two water holes. The newest of new, should just proceed to tee (4) from basket (1). The course difficultly is good for Novice level players and satisfactory for Recreational players.
- MAINTENANCE - The course was in great shape on a weekday morning during the summer. Completely mowed and no trash observed.
- QUICK PLAY - I finished the course in 22 minutes, but then had a +5 minute walk back to car.
- ACEABILITY - A few of the holes are highly aceable. Players will have great opportunities on holes (4), (6) and especially (8).
- THE POND - Of the 3 courses in town as of this review, this is the only one with a water feature in play. There are two clears, with the longest one being about 225 feet to avoid the drink. Although I do take off points for a course's disc loss factor, I often add way more rating due to the added beauty, challenge and variety. Thus the pond in this case, it took the course from a high 1.0, and made it a low 1.5 in my books.
- NAVIGATION - Should be easy due to the open nature. Signage is limited to numbered white tipped 4x4s which are typically easily spotable from the prior basket.
- CHAINS - If I recall correctly, the baskets are T3s from prodigy. They look flimsy, but catch surprisingly well.
- LOCATION - One of 3 courses I bagged in the area in 75 minutes, and I photographed all three for DGCR.

- UNIQUENESS - The variety here is pretty bland. As noted above, there is a water element on holes (2) and (3), and one big tree on holes (1) and (4). The rest of the course is wide open. Hole (7) is a featureless par 5 and (9) is a featureless par 4. To be fair to those that laid the course out, every reasonable obstacle available was used, so kudos to them.
- ELEVATION - Among the flattest courses I've ever thrown on. Less than 5 feet of elevation change on the entire layout. Perfect for a disc golf cart though.
- DIFFICULTY - I was 8 down going into hole 9 once again and botched the drive to ultimately fail to achieve my first 9 down score. So yeah , there's not much of a challenge here. Recreational players should have no problem breaking par. The water clear on (2) and (3) is the only significant challenge here. Novice players will likely be delighted as they should break par routinely if they can make a few putts. I think an even par round of 30 will equate to a sub 800 rated round.
- NO LOOP - After (9), it's an 800 foot plus walk back to (1).
- TEES - Natural tees with no tee line. No tee seating or tee shading either.
- EXTRAS - The course lacks most of the extra amenity items found at the older established courses. The tee signs are very basic being just a 4 by 4 post with a number and a distance. There is no community board, no alternate tees, no alternate basket placements and no practice basket.

A decent course considering the land limitations. For Recreational and Novice level players, this course will offer the basics of the game in a user friendly format. Perhaps it's a reasonable course to those players. For those at the Intermediate level and above, the term passable seems very appropriate. Overall, not worth driving 20 minutes out of the way to go play, but this will be must play hit for course baggers due to the two other nearby courses.
