It's got 27 holes, (that's like nine more!) yet still has two different loops to accomidate 18 hole rounds. Flows very well for the most part. Very friendly for casuals to learn on as most holes don't have a lot in the way of obstacles. Varied pin positions on each hole give players different looks. Board 'B' tees have been recently installed to give users more options. Elevation holes on the last nine are fun, even if they're devoid of obstacles for the most part.

Since the overgrowth at the only other course in town at Tierra Park can make it near unplayable during the summer, this is considered about the only place to go for casual players, so expect crowds on a nice afternoon. There are a few short holes that are purely Par 2, and make you want to say...that's it? Not much in the way of trees along most of the course. Maintainence along the creek has ruined Hole 17.

After 20 years MRP is still a fun course for the majority of disc golfers, although advanced level players would probably state that it is starting to show its age. Even the long downhill 666' bomb isn't terribly difficult.

Don't have time for 27 holes? You have two options here to play 18. Start at Hole 1 and after Hole 13 cross the creek to Hole 23 and resume, or you can start on Hole 10 and play through 27. The latter arrangement is a tad more challenging. Hole 17 used to be a knothole tee where you had to put it through a tunnel of trees over the creek. Maintainence has cut all those trees down, so if you're going to play that hole, you might want to just opt to make your own tee along the sidewalk than use the one provided for more challenge.

Unless you want to deal with the thick foliage at Tierra, this is about the only course in town, and its not far off of I-80, although figuring the route to the parking lot can be tricky. Worth a stop if you're passing through. Just don't expect anything spectacular.

This is a nice place to practice your drives and rollers. There is no excuse for hitting any trees on about 2/3 of the holes. Many of the holes make up for this with decent distance. Signage is okay, although a couple are missing. They list distances to the various basket locations and show the best route to throw. It is a good course to bring a beginner to. They won't get frustrated, and you won't be bored with a nice 27-hole course with some nice elevation on a couple of them. Also, this course doesn't have the itchy undergrowth that detracts from some courses in the summertime.

Wind is a big factor here, especially on the hills, and you have to take it into account especially near the creek. It isn't always evident which basket position is being used, so when they aren't visible from the tee, you don't know where to throw. Errant throws can end up in the creek, but it's only a real risk on a couple holes where you are throwing toward the creek. The biggest con is that this place lacks any real challenge and rarely forces any creative shots.

Concrete tees on every hole are nice. There are B tees, although they are just planks of wood in the ground. The holes here don't have a ton of character. You could describe most of them as "That kind of long hole with just a couple trees." But that's being nit picky. This course is more than adequate for anyone in the area, and you'll get a nice workout. Towns would do well to make use of dead space with courses like this. I enjoy making the trip down to Lincoln from Omaha in the summer for a round or two.

27 holes with a long walk between holes can make for a heck of workout. This course is not heavily wooded, but it does have a 15' foot drop-off into a winding creek that does go throughout the park. The cement tee pads are plenty long enough and are in great shape. This park has a restroom and trashcans. It gets really busy at times since it is the main course in Lincoln. There are a few walkers, but this isn't too much of a problem. A local told me even when it is crowded, it moves along pretty well. I really like teeing off #21 from the top of a hill with 600 plus feet to the hole. Some holes do have that risk/reward factor with the creek. The fun factor was here for me. There was great variety of distances between the many holes.

Some of the tee signs are missing. Some of the distances on the map are off a bit; due to hole changes, but it is pretty close. You will need the map to follow along, as the distance between holes can be as long as some of the holes themselves.

This was a fair course being that most of the holes were a straight shot. I did miss the mixing it up with trees and water and so forth. However, this course had plenty of challenges of it's own. It did seem to be well maintained and the golfers are keeping it very clean.
