February 2014 Update 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Nice elevation changes. A good mix of long and short shots. Different sets of tees on some holes. The course has great potential.

Cons:

No tee signs or next tee signs. We had to make up our own pars for the holes. Holes 1 through 7 were fun holes to play. If they just added in some tee signs and next tee arrows or something, they would have been great. Holes 8 through 12 were terrible. Several baskets always in view and with no signs it was impossible to tell where to throw. 9 - 12 criss cross and would make for an annoying day of disc golf if several other groups were out playing. Several tee pads do not point in the right direction. And although the pads are concrete, they are tiny. Half of them don't have enough room for a run up behind the pad, or the pad is elevated and you risk tripping. 13 - 18 are a mix of great holes to fair/terrible holes.

Other Thoughts:

The course is in need of major work:

1. New tee signs
2. Next tee signs
3. larger pads or pads that are at least level with the surrounding ground.
4. Several holes need to be redesigned for more realistic play.
5. More of the holes need to be less straight so you can shape your shots. Not fun to pretty much throw dead straight at every hole all day.

At this moment, I would not recommend a visit to this course with the shape that it is in.
