RS Americas

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 29, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

-- Brand new Veteran baskets.
-- Minor elevation change. Hole 8 plays uphill off the tee to a basket on a plateau with a dropoff behind/beside the basket; 9 plays off that plateau to a basket downhill. Everything else is pancake flat.

Cons:

-- Land is not good for disc golf. It's pretty flat with no water and only a couple of trees. The trees tend to be close to roads and parking lots, so it's difficult to incorporate them much.
-- Baskets are numbered, but you've got to be pretty close to see the numbers. That is the only navigational aid on site. The map on dgcoursereview has the basket locations but no tees because there aren't any tees. I found a few blue plastic squares (3x3?) in the ground that could be intended to mark tee pads, but I only found a couple, and never more than one in a given location. A few other times, I found broken blue plastic.
-- No water.
-- No seating at tees.
-- Very few trees, so there is almost no shade to protect you from the hot Texas sun and nothing to block the wind.

Other Thoughts:

-- Course is marked as private, and there are No Trespassing signs, but I played in the evening, and no one bothered me. I parked in Visitor parking so that I didn't have to go through a gate.
-- This is a long, open course. No specific distances are available since there are no tee pads, but playing basket to basket, I don't think you've got a hole shorter than 300 feet, and a couple are in the 500-foot neighborhood.

Rally boring not worth it

Reviewed: Played on:May 18, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

Brand new baskets one elevation change. Good distance between baskets. Mark private but far enough away from the building.

Cons:

No signs and no pads. Most everything is just perfectly flat basket to basket. No obstacles no turns. Nothing really but practice. No up and down you would have to park and walk all the way back.

Other Thoughts:

You will see all the baskets lining the outside perimeter of the property.
