Course takes advantage of every square foot of space. Its a long bomber course, you will have to throw and walk long distances but some different shots are there. Multiple tee pads and basket locations on many holes. Mowing has been managed well by the Jasper Parks Dept.

Not a lot of variety or trees which I understand the parks department is going to invest in planting strategic trees for some of the more open holes. Its on a flood plain also so drainage is an issue

We might only get 1 course in Jasper but the location and playable layout with multiple basket and tee locations is exactly what is needed in this area. Other courses close by like Dubois County Park-4H is similar being open and long, Neihaus Park has several long holes but more variety with several short ones and Loogootee is still working on their course at Boggs. I consider this course a "work in progress" (Update: tee pads installed October 2023) but the potential for a top tier course is there.
