Pros:

Aesthetic-- plays on private property. 9 acres, 24 holes, multiple fairways to 12 baskets. Not 100% how many there were. Rebecca and Sean were more than graceful hosts. Greeted me on a massive six course jaunt today with open arms and guided as well as threw with me through the entire course.

Use of property-- for 9 acres, this course has an amazing amount of holes. Use of the water is superb with many carries over water as well as two that carry down/up the creek. Multiple fairways to 12 baskets that give entirely unique looks at the basket with every hole.

Tee"signage" -- Orange rocks with distance (distance may be other places, like benches) also noting carry to the creek (a unique touch to be sure).

Teepads-- not bad. honestly, I thought they would be muddy from recent snow melt but they weren't terrible at all. each of the 24 holes had their own teepad or tee area.

Ace boards-- there are several ace runs here but only 2-3 holes have been aced. those holes have an ace board to sign! nice touch.

Benches and garbage cans-- nice to have both. You make some pretty serious climbs up hill here so a place to place your bag or fat ass is a big plus.

Risk v Reward-- with all of the water carries and rough rough, the risk v reward here is pretty high. Loved all of the water involvement and the fact the creek is low and slow right now. made fishing out the few that got wet pretty easy.

Challenge/variety-- the variety here is outstanding. a little something for everyone to be sure. Mostly this course is techincal and shorter but there are some longer holes that will punish you for thinking you are doing well!

#1 basket-- the wood basket was pretty sweet and caught very nicely!

Bridges-- home made bridges aide in your crossing of the creek. In other areas there are small foot steps to help you cross.

Cons:

Baskets-- most are single chain discatcher travellers or in-steps. plans to upgrade in the future, or at least add a second layer of chains

Routing and nav-- would be impossible without host help. I could have never figured out where the hell I was going if they weren't there.

Other Thoughts:

Overall, great conversation with great hosts. I can't thank them enough for a truly unique disc golf experience. This course is truly a work in progress. Rebecca and Sean played the two newest holes (bringing it up to 24), and they are punishing. playing up one of the steepest hills I've ever played in DG and then a long down hill funneling with pickers on either side was pretty sweet. they said they had only played them 2 times! Awesome to be one of the first "outsiders" to play them!
