From the basket follow the path to the right that comes back a little ways toward the 15th tee. The path that goes to the right and beyond the basket comes out in the middle of the next fairway.

You can see the basket from the tee. Straight ahead and beyond the line of trees. Follow the path to the right of the basket into an open area on this, the far corner of the park, and across the gravel path. There's a hole in the trees straight along the line of the path to the next tee. You're half-way through, but the long ones are yet to come.

This is a long dogleg to the right. Watch for DGers coming from the previous hole. I try and get it as far into the grove as possible to keep the trees out of the 2nd shot. Follow the winding path to the right of the basket to get to the next tee.

The path from #11 comes perpendicular from the footpath that follows the left side of 11's fairway. The basket is only visible in the winter with little growth. It is out and to the right, but for me it's just a matter of getting it far enough so the tree in the center of the fairway doesn't get in the way of the second shot. Follow the path to the right of the basket. This brings you almost immediately to the middle of the next fairway. The tee pad will be straight ahead, but you'll have to wait or move out to the side if there's a group ahead of you. Look to the left to see the next basket.

This is the longest hole until you get to #17. The basket is strait from the tee pad, but beyond the line of smaller evergreens way down there. Finishing on the right side of the relatively wide fairway leaves a clearer second shot, but heavy trouble off either side of the fairway dictates caution. The picture for this hole is taken halfway down the fairway. I actually aim for that rock from the tee. About 20 feet along the gravel path away to the right of the #9 fairway there's a break in the trees on the right that leads to the tee of #10.

The gap seen ahead of the tee at hole 8 is about halfway to basket which is in the large clearing beyond and to the left. Hit the gap and you're golden. Only trouble to the left and most of that is out of play if you hit the gap. Next tee is easily seen from the basket.

The basket for hole 7 is beyond the LARGE overgrown shrub (Larch?) directly ahead from the tee pad. I've seen some try to go over it, but I don't have enough length for that. In fact, I seldom get it far enough down the left side to even see the basket. That would be my recommendation on how to play it. Landing in the middle of that "shrub", which is easily 50 ft across, is never any fun and will often cost you at least a stroke to get out of. The wide path to the next tee is to the right of the basket and back slightly toward the tee box for hole 7.

This hole was #1 in past course history. The tee pad is next to a small lot just off a relatively busy street and is a strait-forward shot with trouble on either side of the fairway. Trail to the next tee is beyond and left of the basket.

If you can't see the basket from the tee pad (On the raised area bearing slightly right), it is ** at the end of a lengthy left hook, down a well defined channel into another shady hollow. Once again it may be necessary to head straight out from the tee and find it before you throw if you're more than a 200 ft driver. Otherwise just put it out in the clearing slightly left and you have a clear 2nd shot. ** Of course, this week the basket is in a new position. I knew it was there, but have not seen it used before. It's in it's own channel between the other two positions: Strait out from the tee box and just a hitch to the left. A shot too far left will leave only and up and over prayer.** The next tee is along the path through the back of the clearing around the basket to the far left (even if the placement is elsewhere). Go left on the hard-top, then right and keep walking it's further than most basket-to-tee strolls.

Believe it or not you can see the left basket placement from the tee pad, but only if you know where to look: through the gap to the left across a footpath, over the clearing and under the evergreen beyond. It is always in the shadows and hard to see. The other basket placement is through the right gap across the path, and beyond the clearing around another big evergreen. Unfortunately, if you've never played the hole, you will likely have to scope it out before you throw. Though the placements are not far from each other, the line of trees between them makes going down the wrong side more than just a minor mistake. Follow the path around the big evergreen left of the basket (through the tree 'fence" first, if the placement is to the right). They have finally added a third placement to this hole, though it's really a stretch and it seems to go against logic and fair play. It's listed at 506ft. Take the channel to the right. There is a very narrow break in the trees that surround the clearing in which placement B normally sits. Through that and another 150 ft into the open. As of 3/3/15 it is in this position.
