Pros:
A pleasant, easy, mostly open 9-hole course on a college campus. Even though it is all "natural" tees, four of the holes (#4, #5, #6, #8) tee off from cement with a blue line marking the end of tee. #3 is very attractive -- a throw over 15-20' wide stream that runs at most 5 inches deep and has a nice bridge. I had no trouble parking (no sticker) and no problem navigating (see details below). Nice bathroom near #6 basket (actually open at 8 AM) which is centrally located (more details below). Basket #6 is up on a mound (fun). I found the tee signs more than adequate and the baskets caught very well. Holes #7-#9 play up then down then up a small hillside so you get little elevation. People were friendly.
Cons:
Holes are short (no big challenge) and mostly open. Not a lot of variety and also all had one tee spot and one basket location. The course would be a mess on rainy (or rainy+1) days.
Other Thoughts:
My instinct says this is a two-star course but it's so darn pleasant (much like the Hershey Hotel course) that I am bumping to 2.5 as that how it felt on the day I played it. I would play it again if I were on campus for another reason. I was concerned about not having a parking sticker but when I reconnoitered, I did not see anything at the entrance to the commuter lots saying anything about requiring a sticker. I parked in C7 (Commuter Lot 7) which meant that basket #6 and the restroom was on the way to tee #1. Maybe that's why I didn't have HyooMac basket 5/6 unclarity (plus I had a map). A dude in a golf cart was patrolling the lot mainly checking that the garbage cans were emptied and he waved to me as I got out of my car (no challenge issued). There were some groundskeeping guys near the bathroom and they were also friendly. After playing the first 6, I hit the head again on my way to tee #7 (across the road - very safe to cross). I liked #7 (uphill to a basket behind a few trees) but they were no Adirondack chairs out there so maybe somebody read HyooMac's review and moved them. After #9, I hit the head a third time (I'm old) and got cleaned up for the road (four courses played today).
