Pros:

Most holes are at least a little bit interesting. Some of the better ones, like hole 4, are quite good.

Some of the fairways are tight, but the holes are short and all of them are fair. Throw a good shot and you'll score well. Don't and, well, you'll score like I did my first time through.

Course has some nice terrain and uses it pretty well.

Cons:

Despite being generally interesting, it is awfully short.

Tee pads are quite small, asphalt dust (or similar), but were in decent shape and generally weren't a problem for me.

Other Thoughts:

I only played this because I had to go by a friend's house in the area and my expectations were very low. I enjoyed it. Played through the 9 holes twice. It won't be hosting Worlds anytime, but it was perfectly playable. Yes, the rough can be a bit rough in places, but the fairways are fair and were in good shape.

Most of the holes were interesting, in a generally easy sort of way. Hole 1 and Hole 4 are both listed as par 4's. They're both (very) short for 4's, but... heck if they don't play as par 4's (especially hole 4).

There are a few places that I'd trim back a tree branch or two, but the course is so short that it being just a bit tight actually works pretty well.

I was pleasantly surprised and I'll be back at some point.

Fun little course by Pilot Mountain 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Actually a pretty cool location for a course. Does a decent job of using elevation and features to make things interesting. Definitely short so it'll make ya feel good!

Cons:

Pads were gravel so not ideal. Baskets are old and single chains so I def had a few putts bounce out. Not much for signage, but the course is easy to navigate. Would love for there to be 9 more like this.

Other Thoughts:

Played this on an overcast day so there was no one around. Felt like a ghost town. Anyways, it's a pretty cool course, especially for more beginner types. Updated baskets and maybe some solid tees would really help, especially if they found room for 9 more.

I enjoyed my self 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Nice baskets
Easy to find the next tee pad
Nice variety

Cons:

No trash cans
No distance measurements

Other Thoughts:

It was different to putt at baskets with a single chain set up. I would not call this a con. If my putt was on, it stayed in the basket.
