Object golf at its best 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 6, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is a disc golf course from the throw back days of object golf. There are no baskets here, but there are 18 plaques nailed to trees spread out over a fine well thought layout.

There are both very long and very short holes. Two high risk / reward holes over water, and with creativity there is a third. The tees for each hole is supposed to be where the plaque for the last hole was. When friends and I play there we will make alternate tees for some of the holes to bring a new look to the drives.

There is terrain variation on every single hole. Hole eight in particular is about a four hundred foot hole that rises in elevation about one hundred feet. Hole eleven is about 500feet and goes down in elevation about 120 feet.

The entire course has great fairways that are clear in the middle but wooded on the edge. Always mowed and well maintained. Super easy to follow and navigate. An extreme workout for your legs.

There are plenty of amenity's for the rest of the family. There are basketball courts with balls present, tennis courts, fully stocked playgrounds with slides, swing sets, climbing equipment etc., also walking trails, and swimming pools and swimming pond with 50' slide. You would be hard pressed not to find something fun to do.

Cons:

No baskets, just plaques.
No official tees.

Other Thoughts:

If you are ok with not hearing the sound of chains for one round, then this is a fantastic place to go for a super nice round that you are guaranteed to enjoy. Really well laid out, fun and diverse.
