Pros:
-Nice Tee Pads
-Helpful tee signs
-Unique homemade baskets mixed in with some DISCatchers, homemade baskets don't catch great, but they still get most putts.
-Fairways are nice grass, the course is on a city park in Amsterdam, so it is pretty well maintained.
-Good tree use, Hole 4 especially.
-The map helps a ton, not that the course is hard to navigate, but the map makes it really easy, especially if you're a little brain dead from an international flight.
-Water is used well as an obstacle as it should be in a park with canals. The water is super icky, but that just makes it more of an obstacle I guess.
-A couple benches which are sturdy and relatively new, but I wouldn't really want to sit on them because of the garbage.
-Some nice open long holes and some shorter technical ones, excellent mix of forehand and backhand.
Cons:
-Rough is super tricky, lots of stinging nettles, and tons of garbage.
-Unsurprisingly, there is not much opportunity for elevation at this course, there are a few mounds that could have enhanced play, but they are left unused. TIP: on hole 9 throw from the top of the sculpture mound, it is way cooler than the actual tee.
-Paths from hole to hole are decent, but almost every single hole plays across or next to popular bike paths. Hole 4's fairway is a bike path.
-This course feels sketchy, there is a lot of graffiti, and tons of garbage everywhere.
