Pros:
This course sits in a very small park the you can actually see this 9 holer from HWY 41 . Pulling into the small parking lot , there are rest rooms and a small shelter right next to you .If you have a map , and you probably should , you march back to the entrance to the park for hole #1 . There are smallish concrete tee pads on all of the holes , which is okay , because you shouldn't need anything but a short approach disc and a putter for this round . The baskets are in great shape and the thin tee signs were , well , just in the way . Not a hole over 236' , this is ace run city here . Good for only that and short game work . No real obstructions here . A couple of light doglegs around 2 and 3 , and some trees to keep from hitting on #9 , and you can have a quick round or 2 before moving on . Ideal for picnics , showing the little Ms or junior the game , or a round with the gal . You will likely not see anyone here playing at the park, which seems well maintained .
Cons:
I am not going to slam an introductory park that put enough time and money to pour concrete tees , install tee signs and set 9 baskets into a very small area . But ,,,,, the course holds water , a lot of water . I played in the makings of a swamp when I was her after a hard rain . The course feature no elevation , just a couple of small inclines and throwing off a short hill on #2 . The poor designer of this course was given nothing to work with . Go grab your deuces , aim for aces and get out .
Other Thoughts:
A short intro course . Teach someone the game here , putt around . It's okay if you bypass this course if you want . Unless you live in the city , then no need to play . At least it's free and you won't lose a disc .
