Pros:

This course offers several different tees and pins at nearly every single hole. This makes playing the course time after time again a new experience with new challenges and obstacles. The flow of the holes is pretty well laid out but a few of them are a little harder to find if this is your first time playing the course. Also the location is just past the railroad tracks in Ames making it fairly close for college students to come play in their spare time,

Cons:

The layout of the course is overall pretty flat. The few elevation changes that are there are not very drastic allowing for most of the holes to have straight shots in at the pin areas. Also another complaint is the construction that is going on next to the last 2 holes of the course. The 17th basket is completely bent up and can not be shot into because a truck ran over it and it had not been replaced in a while according to a friend that has played here for a few years, Hole 18 is a swamp with standing water and mud due to all the construction so bring an old pair of shoes if you want to play this course. Overall pretty fun but I have played much more challenging courses.
