Pros:

-This is a great, unique and memorable course located outside the
provoncial town "Grebenstein" in a wooded area with an old quarry.

-With a huge variety of shots, tight fairways, many trees and noteworthy
elevation changes this course is intended for (at least) advanced players.

The holes outside the woods require a bigger arm whereas accuracy is
needed inside the forest.

-I found the placement of certain baskets, especially the ones in the woods,
to be choosen very clever and ambitious. Overthrowing might be punished
with difficult reputts because of the rolling hills.

-15 holes are the perfect amount of holes for the area as it gets really
exhausting walking up and down the hills.

-Inside the woods, next to the old quarry, there is a large shed with a fireplace,
perfect for shelter during rain or for longer breaks.

-While this course is located at the countryside, traffic isn't a problem at all.
Some people with dogs and some cows around, at most.

Cons:

-Sadly, the course is not maintained regularly. Even the course-homepage
points out that the course is not in the best condition.

-Some baskets are damaged and finding tees is very difficult as they are just
marked with (overgrown) stones on the ground.

-As this course has undergone several reconstructions the flow isn't the best.
You might have to walk a bit (up and down) to get to the next tee.

-You definitely need the course-map, as finding the tees was difficult even
with one printed. There is no course-map or information-board onsite.

-There are no tee signs with information about the length or Par of the holes.

-Some holes are placed on a "horse-track". I have never seen any horses
around but it seemed to be still in use.

Other Thoughts:

-With its mixed baskets, gruffy location and a good layout combined
with interesting basket-placements, this is one of my favourite courses around.

It has a lot of charm and a lot to offer as long as the grass is cut, at least roughly.

-Before going here i would recommend to contact the local club and ask
about the condition.

-You will definitely need good footgear here.

-With Calden(18 baskets, 15min away by car) Martinhagen(9 baskets, 35min)
this is a great location to visit and play disc golf.
