Pros:

Great course design, from some over the lake holes to some skinny between the woods holes, to long open holes, to tricky bounce it off this tree shots, this course has it all.

Cons:

Only con I would have is that the gate to 1488 is rarely open, so you have to travel around back. Also there is no clearly marked sign as to where you should park and where the first hole begins. Most of the holes once you find the first one are somewhat easy to find. Are we supposed to check in?

Other Thoughts:

All in all this course is great! It's a great gem to stumble upon. They did an amazing job at keeping with the "theme" of the woodlands by having everything as natural as possible. From the wood-chipped and tree lined tee pads, to keeping as many trees as they could, even some of the paths to each hole are lined with fallen trees! The signs are bright and easy to read! The holes are diverse enough and ending with 18 going through the spindle trees is amazing! Great job on updating this course, it is now truly one of the best greater Houston courses and I would have to say the best Woodlands course.
Put a sign up and point us to hole #1 and you'd get 5 stars!
