Pros:
A short course set in a field with a few trees to shape around and bounded on one side by dense rough with a drainage ditch in the middle of it and the other by a tall fence. There are multiple tees on most holes (maybe all of them. I didn't have the patience to try and find them all). The baskets have hole numbers on them. Plenty of benches to take a break.
Cons:
There are unfortunately plenty of cons.
There are no tee signs, just small concrete markers flat with the ground that are hard to find. The course shares space with some kind of foot whiffle ball golf course (not soccer ball golf) which is better marked than the disc golf course but adds to the confusion (the post tee markers are for the other golf, NOT disc golf*). Hole 5's basket sits in the middle of a drainage pond and was completely surrounded by water on all sides and unplayable (wtf???). There were other instances of standing water on the course too. $5.00 (per person) to get into the park on a weekday. Might be more on the weekend*. Only open to the public during the summer months.
Other Thoughts:
$5.00 for a course of this caliber is not worth it. If you want to participate in the other activities here, and there are many, then maybe. Or if you are camping here and want a rec round or a warm-up for some of the better courses in the area. One and done for salty course baggers like myself!
*There seems to be some confusion on the entry cost. Sun-N-Fun's own Facebook page lists entry fees as $3.00 Mon-Thurs and $5.00 Fri-Sun although we played on a Monday and were charged $5.00 Other members have listed paying as much as $7.50 to get in! Also, this course was redesigned at some point. Apparently, it shared tees with the wiffleball course once but has its own tees now. Don't be fooled by the uploaded photos!
