Pros:
Fairways were well groomed.
Some degree of difficulty with established trees and landscaping. Much more so on the back 9.
Fairly intuitive layout and trails to next tees.
Nice scenery, few if any bugs, no big out of play- spend an hour looking for a lost disc in poison ivy or the like.
Compact course that begins and ends near parking.
Cons:
Low lying areas are mucky and could be pretty wet during a large rain
Rough is long grass that is very thick and camouflages discs easily as it springs back in place
Hole 18 runs parallel to the road and if you have wayward discs can potentially hit a car.
Pedestrian trail alongside course is good use of space but, important to be cautious of wile throwing on the 2nd 9.
First 9 are alongside farm fields and discs can cross over barb wire fence making them questionable to retrieve.
Other Thoughts:
Certainly not a must play but, a great family course.
A quick play if you're traveling through and want to play a round.
The rough, proximity to roads, farmland and lake make it a tougher play for beginners.
