Pros:

There is an amazing sense of community amongst the regulars on this course that is also very welcoming of guests.

Course manager known as Fast Eddy does an amazing job of keeping layout updated, fresh and fun.

Great combination of technical challenges, varying hole distances and elevation change. Every hole is a unique experience.

Course has an illustrious history

Cons:

The location leads to brutally hot summer days. Bring lots of water!

The thick trees and bushes can eat discs.

Other Thoughts:

This course holds a special place in my heart because of how much fun it is to play and how friendly and helpful the regular players are. It's my favorite course to play, and even though its not the closes physically to where I live, I consider it to be my home course and its a must visit whenever you are near Los Angeles.

A well Rounded Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 22, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

A Well Rounded Course that makes you bring out all your skills. In my opinion, it is one of the best course within an hour drive of LA. It was a very luck based course unless your a pro. Well mantained and it was run by great guys. The Red White and Blue markers made the course very easy to follow. The Pro Shop is awesome and I buy all my disc here. Overall, a great course with a lot of pros. It is also very cheap $2.

Cons:

There are few, if any, cons to this course however. It can get really hot in the summer. Also, it can tear up your DX disc and its not in the greatest area. No others that I can think of.

Other Thoughts:

This is a course up there with all the courses in the Southern California area. I think I saw TalbotTrojan today here too.

Favorite Holes:
Front 9: Hole 4
A very challenging hole that makes you turn both ways with difficult
Back 9: Hole 11
A downhill gem that makes your frisbee fly. Ending with a ten foot pyramid hole. My personal best is a 2 on this hole
