Minature Disc Golf! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 31, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

A minature disc golf course! If you ever wondered what Mini DG would be like take a trip to the Grange and play the Tiki course! All Par 2 and laid out in inches rather feet! All Baskets are laid out with obstacles to make the target harder. Some have nets around them, one basket is in a half open cage, one even has a water hazard.....you have to throw over a kiddie pool!!!!!

Cons:

None. As the only mini course I've ever found for Disc Golf it is truly unique unto itself!

Other Thoughts:

All Tiki Baskets are lined with Christmas lights so I assume this great little course is playable at night! Just pure DG fun! The only reason this is rated as a 3 is because I have to be fair when rated against true, long DG courses. As far as a Mini DG Course goes its a 5... easy! Be sure to start your Grange day with a warm up at the Tiki course or cool down after hitting the Darkside & Sunnyside with a round at this unique course.

tons o' fun 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 10, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

18 hole par 2 course (one arguable par 3) on site with 2 full-sized courses. Mostly wooded with great shot variety considering the longest is 130 feet or so. Lit with Christmas lights lining each hole. Absolutely unique. Perfect to warm up your short game or to wind down after a round on the big courses. Some of the most gracious hosts anywhere.

Other Thoughts:

The Grange is a pay-to-play facility featuring two full courses, 18 hole tiki course, and a video arcade.

Very cool mini-course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 1, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great warm-up, cool down, or play repeatedly kind of course. The Tiki course is a par-2 mini course that can be played with just one disc (putter). Holes are marked in inches with the longest being ~120'. Very well designed - takes up minimal amount of land, variety of shots (hyzer, anhyzer, straight) & TONS of character. Has real teepads!

The course is lit with x-mas lights & rope lighting on the basket so you can play at night. A round can take as little as 30 minutes. Very kid friendly.

Cons:

None - this course is perfect for its design. Baskets getting a bit rusty, but they look recycled anyways.

Other Thoughts:

The most unique course I've played; I wish more big courses had this feature
