Distance update 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 12, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

If you have a big arm, there's lots of holes to show off that distance.
Elevation comes into play on 3 of the 9 holes.
As the only local course, I play this almost every weekend. The course may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it does grow on you. The desert mountain scenery is quite beautiful when you take it all in. Lots of hidden gems on the course.

Cons:

Dense high-desert brush will have you searching for your disc almost every throw. Pace of play can be slow unless you have a friend spotting for you.
Thorns. Cacti. Wear long pants, at least thin ones, even in summer.
Cliffs. Holes 3 and 6 can send your disc hundreds of feet downhill if you fly too far left.
Windy (especially near the aforementioned cliffs.)

Other Thoughts:

Many of the distances on the signs are incorrect. Using Google Earth, here are the correct distances:
1 - 860
2 - 400 (downhill)
3 - 600
4 - 178 (uphill)
5 - 385 (extremely uphill)
6 - 731
7 - 215
8 - 602
9 - 287
