Pros:
- Nice variety of holes and throws for such a limited space

Other Thoughts:
I played this course only because I was in the area and it was easy to get to. For an open-field 9-hole course, it was better than I expected. Elevation challenges, multiple throw challenges, a few obstacles and some distance shots.
A good casual round. Nothing all that challenging but not a lame hole-to-hole course either.
The park is on a busy main street, so there is zero seclusion. But you'll only be near the other park goers near hole #1, which runs next to the skate ramps. After that the course is in exclusive land.
The tees signs were nice, but most of the signs were damaged and missing the sign maps. However, you do not need much imagination to figure out this course layout.
There was a bit of trash all along the course, a shame for such a tiny park. Then again, it was so close to city streets it might just have blown in!

The park is pretty trashed
Bunch of homeless camps in the river/swamp
Skaters are really annoying and feel the need to check out your discs

Enjoyable 9 Hole Course 2+ years drive by

Pros:
-Two full sets of tees. The blues offer a greater challenge due to the holes playing much longer and sometimes involving tighter gaps, while the reds are shorter and more forgiving, but will still require some line shaping. There are elevation changes on most holes, and the red tees offer many ace opportunities.
-Hole 8 from the blue tees is a long anhyzer hole that I really enjoyed. It's between 450 and 490 feet I'd guess. Great place to work on BH distance rollers. Hole 9 long is also very fun, playing about 500' long with a basket sitting up on a hill with large trees guarding it. Hole 1 aside, the first half of the course makes good use of the trees to create enjoyable shots.
-As a skateboarder I really appreciate having the skatepark right next to the DGC. My usual trip to Alliance consists of a red tee round, half an hour of skating, a blue tee round, a bit more skating then dinner.
-The blue tees are well marked with posts sticking out of the ground and maps to indicate distances and obstacles. The baskets are new and have the hole # displayed on top.

-Finding all the red tees took me a few rounds to figure out. Still can't find the red tee for hole 9. Having a course map displayed near hole 1 would be nice, but the teesigns get the job done.
-Overall some of the holes are a bit too open, but this is balanced by other holes that feature more obstacles. That's the only big drawback to the course in my opinion, is that while 2,3 and 4 for example feature fun obstacles, 6, 7 and 8 are just runs at a basket sitting out in the open with no trees to force lines. The elevation in play on these holes is a redeeming factor though.
-The first time playing it can be confusing knowing which basket to throw to if you don't pay attention to the numbers on top of them, as sometimes you'll have 2 or 3 baskets visible from a given teepad and some of them will look like legitimate holes.
-Pretty solid course but a little on the easy side for a more experienced player.

Other Thoughts:
This is a great course to play if you enjoy bmx biking or skateboarding, as you can do both in the same location. The park is fun and I recommend trying it out if you're in the area, but it's not one I make dedicated trips to frequently like I do Dover and Massillon. If I have the time I prefer to start here, then head a few miles west down 62 to Louisville, then get back on 62 and finish up at Arboretum in Canton.
