Fun little course for your short game. Playing this course alone could be a little rough if you start having to look.

It's a nice little 9 hole course with decent navigation. Plays up past the soccer fields which can get crowded for soccer games. However plenty of parking. The course itself is pretty small and you really only need a midrange and putter on most holes. Tee signs were in good shape showing distances.

Can get very windy as it plays next to a main freeway, and is fairly wide open. Not many holes to really throw bombs and I would say good family course but the terrain is pretty rough. Lots of sage brush slash rocks on course.

This course literally falls under that decent/typical category it's good for a quick nine/ lunch break round. If you're looking for a fast play it does the job the main obstacle is the wind and it's a good course to teach you how to play in the wind. However not the most scenic course or variety type course pretty bland but not the worse all baskets pads and signs our intact and besides the sage brush shouldn't have to look for any disc

Like I said, it's good for what it is: an open 9 hole that meanders through a big ravine. Holes 2, 3, 4, and 5 play along/through the ravine. Holes 1, 6, 7, 8, and 9 all play towards or over the ravine. It offers some fun little elevation shots, and if you have some decent form, every hole is an ace run.
It can get like a wind tunnel here sometimes, and that completely changes this course. I like to say that it's the only course I know of where you can bogey a wide open, slightly downhill 210 foot hole. I really like that the course will punish you if you miss that basket by mere inches. If you throw a putt that sails past target, down the ravine you go. You will have a nice steep come-backer for par. Another tricky thing: when you are down in the ravine and putting back to the basket, the wind may seem calm where you're putting from, but the moment it gets to basket elevation, the wind is howling. The wind will get you out here if you don't putt HARD.
The navigation is super straightforward, and every basket is visible from the tee. They tried to put green stakes in the ground to indicate paths to the next tee. Many are gone, but you can usually spot one to send you in the right direction.
The rocks get pretty ridiculous here. I wouldn't use a baseline plastic putter here if you like it. Discs get absolutely chewed up here. I also recommend sturdy shoes, because you will be walking on rocks for a few moments. One reason there are so many rocks in parts is because you play along a creek bed for much of the course. If it has been raining, the creek can flow pretty well. It's nothing too wild, but if it's flowing pretty well a disc might get carried away in some parts.
It's too bad there's only two holes with some obstacles: Hole 4 and 5 have a couple trees which aren't difficult to navigate. Oh well, this course (for me) is all about practicing awkward footing, windy putts, and very precise distance control. It's easy for people to hate on this course and I get it: it's a short 9 hole with no obstacles. The funny thing is I've seen people try out this course from other "better" courses in the area, and they will tank. It can be sneaky tricky, and some people hate the fact they bogeyed a wide open 200 footer. That's the Wedge for you, a rugged, windy 9 hole.
Oh yeah, and the view of Mt. Rose is awesome.

They have done a tremendous job of cleaning up the park and it's now more enjoyable to play. I Love love it being on the south end of town which is a lot more convenient. This is a great place to throw if your a beginner to intermediate player and if your skill level is above that, it's a great course to focus on putt and approach.

It's a bit on the shorter side and doesnt allow for the use of any Big Boy Discs. I can easily take one disc, my Buzzz, and shoot under par.Thats about it guys.

My 8 year old, Izabelle, loves it. She shot her first "true" par there and you would have thought she'd won the lottery. Love those moments.
