Pros:
Lots of interesting shots required, quite a few risk/reward decisions to make.
Beautifully constructed, well-sized concrete tee boxes.
Fantastic scenery, mountains all around.
Great basket placements.
Really helpful and friendly locals.
Cons:
Directional signage could be better.
No main sign telling you you're at the right place.
Other Thoughts:
The course is laid out in a cross country ski area so the ski trails are the "fairways". You've got to keep your disc in the open or you can get tangled up in some severe foliage. That said, I played the course a few years back and the locals have done an amazing job of clearing out the areas where discs are likely to end up.
The place has a great vibe. Rossland is a ski town and you can see the three mountains that form the ski hill from all over the DG course. There are a number of really cool benches at tee areas built from skis, which fits with the general ambience. Rossland is a picturesque old mining town and one of the old hotels has a "General Store" that is fairly well stocked with discs and bags.
