Big improvements from this diamond in the rough... drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 9, 2023 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

You'll use a pretty good variety of shots...forehand, backhand, everything. There's a couple of bomber holes where you can grip it and rip it. There's some nice technical mid-distance holes. And there's some short ones that will force you to hit a small gap. There's not a ton of elevation change...not like Northwoods Black or Wildlife, but there's enough to make things interesting.

Some of the "lower" divisions (not the pros) of Ledgestone played here this year, so the course is in great shape with new concrete tee pads and baskets. A lot of the brush has been removed, so if you get a tree-kick, you might still be able to save par or bogey.

Cons:

None that I can really think of. It's probably not beginner friendly.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice little course...if you're a local, it needs to find a spot in your rotation. If you're visiting, put it on your list...
