Better than expected 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Course layout is easily followed and understood. Good mix of clear and obstacle shots. Right of the highway for a quick stop before hitting the casino or on the way back after loosing you money.

Cons:

Natural tees some what difficult after rain. Wood chip path is an accident waiting to happen. Older baskets with some holes having sunken lower than the norm.

Other Thoughts:

With either a ground rubber or concrete tee box this course would get another point from me. would like to see the run off for rain water better defined and a few holes stretched. Played after heavy rain and at the end of a 72 hole marathon or I would have scored better.

Pros:

Well maintained park
Logical flow

Cons:

Baskets and tee signs showing age
natural tees

Other Thoughts:

It's a typical park course with old-style DisCatcher baskets (single chains). It's laid out on the outer edge of a large community park. Gently rolling ground with plenty of trees to make things interesting. Most holes are reachable for birdie, but there are a couple of holes in the 400+ range that are just a bit too long for the blue-level player, but probably just right as a par 4 for the red-level player. It's a fun little course if you find yourself passing through the area on US 30 as it's right off the highway (you can see the baskets from the road).
