Pros:
This course is a good course for beginners due to the short, open, manageable holes that provide a challenge but are fun as well. Also, with pro pads that in some cases almost double the length of the holes, it is great for pro players to have fun. The holes play out as follows from the am pads:
Hole 1: From the am pad, it is about a 200 ft shot straight to a group of trees. The main challenge here is to keep it out of the wind, and not throw long as a building is less than 50 feet from the basket.
Hole 2: This shot is around 230 and for RHBH is a big annhyzer around a huge tree. The key here is for your annhyzer to not cut roll. There is a route straight to the basket, but you need to keep it low or you'll be loping at a touch lie.
Hole 3: This hole plays about 290 over a small ditch. The key is to keep it straight and low so youcan laser to the basket for an easy 2. Don't go long or you will be in the softball field.
Hole 4: This hole plays about 280 around the concession stand. It is a hyzer shot for RHBH. There is a slight slope in front of the basket but there is thick brush behind. Don't go too long or it will not end nicely.
Hole 5: Don't go too far right as there is a ditch in some thick woods. This hole is a straight shot with woods on the right as a ditch on the left. Plays about 280-290.
Hole 6: This hole is around 250 and plays around the back side of the softball field. Keep it out of the wind and it should be an easy birdie. However, if the wind takes it, be prepared to get it out of left field.
Hole 7: This is one of the tougher holes on the course. It plays about 270-280 with pavement(OB) to the left and a row of trees to the right. You can go straight at it but it is nearly impossible. A big annhyzer or flick for RH players.
Hole 8: This is an island hole that plays about 250. Make sure to throw something that sticks or your looking at a circle on the card.
Hole 9:This hole plays about 250 straight to the basket with a ditch on the left and behind the basket.
Hole 10: This hole from tee to basket is only about 280, however there is no lane straight. You have to hyzer for RHBH around some thick bushes to get the the basket which is tucked in another 40 feet. Don't go long and straight, or short or your in the thick.
Hole 11: This hole is about 240 and is a hyzer shot for RHBH. The basket is tucke in about 30 feet but do not go short, or too far left or your thick in the rough.
Hole 12: Shot is very similar to hole 5. About 30 feet further over a small ditch, you don't have to contend with the softball field here.
Hole 13: This hole is around 230 feet slightly uphill. Hyzer for RHBH around a tree to tap in for birdie(hopefully).
Hole 14: This hole plays about 300 and is an annhyzer or flick for RHBH. The basket is behind a big tree with a slight drop off before the basket. Don't go long or your in some thick underbrush.
Hole 15: This hole is about 310 and plays up to a drainage pipe type thing. The teepad has a slight incline so make sure to get a good rip.
Hole 16: This hole plays about 220 straight across a field. Don't throw long or your in the rough but it is a simple hole.
Hole 17: This hole is similar to hole 10, however it is shorter to the brush but tucked in further. Dont throw long or your in the road, short and your looking at a hard par.
Hole 18: This hole is by far the toughest hole. It plays about 270-290 and is an island green. The ideal shot is to play a skip off of the pavement on a flick for RHBH. However, it is tough because it usually hits the curb.
This course raps around and finishes where it starts.
Cons:
There are no tee signs, distances, and no map on location. This course can be hard to navigate for a first timer due to multiple tees. When school is in session, I would stay away as there are many activities that take place around the course and parking would be hard to find. Teepads are natural so if it rains it may be tough toget proper footing. There are no restrooms on site.
Other Thoughts:
This is a great course that would provide a fun round for all levels. You should come and check out the new course as improvement are being made weekly.
