Pros:

Many challenging placements. Beautiful setting in the mountains yet not too much climbing. A nice place to get disc. Driving range available.

Cons:

This is a working farm so sometimes hard to locate discs in field

Best place to learn to play 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 13, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Maintained rubber mat Pro, Adv and Rec Pads. Covered picnic benches. Restrooms. Good base area.
No 'civilians' to throw around like many free courses.
Driving range, putting green, instruction can be free or pay.
Pro shop. Nice mountain setting.
Good up and down shots with very little climbing.
Good variety of left/right/trick/longer shots.
Nice to pump fresh well water at 9th basket.

Cons:

Can have a strong wind, mostly from west.
Can lose discs in heavy bushes/trees. (Disc retrieval poles on 3, 12, and 13 make for very few lost in the water.)
Some very tight O.B., especially on back nine.
This is zoned Ag. land. Grass gets long on and off.

Other Thoughts:

UPDATE: JUNE 2017: All tee pads have been reset and leveled. Much of the super heavy 'rough' has been thinned and the grass is not too long yet. Great time to play with Sipapu now dry and just up the road.

#s 1-8 all play down below, near the entry drive.

#1 is behind the practice basket and doglegs down left.
(Notice #2 basket as you head down to fairway.)
#2 tees along entrance road. From #2, the #3 tees are below left by River.
#4 tee is down in a hole by River, beyond #3.
#4 doglegs up and hard right. #5 tee is in the same meadow.
#6 tee is up to the right and the basket is down across the field by the river.
#7 is a right from #6/ plays up into a gap in trees.
#8 is similar, starting below/plays up into tree gap.

#9-18 are all up and around the main field.

#9 plays between big house on right and OB left.
#10 tees across the acequia (water ditch) and plays down into open field left of house.
#11 is up to the water tower, OB long.
#12 has tight OB water right and fence left.

(#12a, 12b are long 'tournament only' extra holes only open in late spring. Across the fence.)

#13 has very tight OB left/right/long. Good luck.
#14 tees are across the bridge and way back to the right.
#15 has OB left. #16 is long to the big house.
#17 across driveway, short to the rocky perch.
#18 is back to in front of the smaller house.

The whole place is set up to help you learn to play. Not too long. Quick but technical rounds.

Cons:

pay to play. You will want to walk a few of the holes to find the baskets before you tee off.

Other Thoughts:

You will need a spotter on a couple holes
