Pros:
Beautiful course and well balanced including Shade vs. Sun. Very open for the most part.
The holes are addictively challenging - make sure you are prepared for rock climbing on holes 4 & 5.
Holes #8 - #11 encircle a nice outdoor ampitheater.
#16 is a nicely designed water hole.
#17 is quite unique with the 90 left turn around a private residence.
I would play this course again! Online course map is very accurate & informative.
As for most any DGC, some improvements (starting with concrete tees) could render this course above-par.

Cons:
This course was extremely busy. I played on a Sunday during the college semester & it seems a lot of weekend college residents play. I can't imagine trying to play while school is in session during the week!!
#1 & #13 are often almost always confused (even I did) unless you've paid attention to the accurate course map provided (Advised since there is no signage).
Holes #1, #2, #3, & #14 are in play very close to busy road, so make sure you're insured when you drive on Moore St.
Discs are regular road kill here.
The baskets seem to be custom made & are not standard quality. In fact some baskets are bent & misshapen (i.e. Hole #4). It's like playing basketball with a bent rim. Be careful when putting!

Other Thoughts:
I had no idea the exact condition of this course, but I knew it was worth trying out - a risk that was worth taking & driving 30 miles to play. As it turns out, I am glad to have completed a challenging & scenic course!

After the Redesign 2+ years

Pros:
First thing to note is that this course was almost completely redesigned in 2006/2007. Based on the original course map only four holes remain unchanged from the original layout. Also actual tee boxes were installed since the redesign. While playing the course gave me the impression it favored lefties (LHBH), in hindsight I think it was actually very evenly balanced with about 6 holes each of righty, lefty, and straight shots.
There's excellent use of trees throughout, including four heavily wooded holes (#5-#8). Only hole #1 is a wide open shot. The remaining 13 holes are fair and typically offer you a couple routes to the basket. There's a lot of challenge on this course for many different shots. It would be a fun course once you know the layout because there are a lot of fun holes out there.

Cons:
The only sign anywhere on the course was the obsolete tee sign for #12. No signs means no pars, no distances, no known OB, and not really knowing where you are for first timers. If it weren't for the rather visible tee boxes this course would be very difficult to figure out.

It looks like there was a little pond and creek that wove through #16 and #17. They were completely dry when I played, but if the pond had water it would add significant challenge to hole #17.
The baskets are a mix of single chain and double chain with at least three different brands of baskets on the course.
Without a map the transition from #18 to #1 might be confusing (go up the hill to the right of #18's fairway). The transition from #8 to #9 is definitely confusing (go left up the access road past the theater). The transition from #12 to #13 is back up Moore St, through the parking lot on the left, past the church.
Several holes have you throwing along and close to a street with significant traffic. Hole #3 is especially bad as it throws into oncoming traffic.

I created a map (posted here on DGCR) which includes distances, OB, Mandos, etc. that should make navigation much easier.

Other Thoughts:
This course really needs two ratings, one for uninformed first timers, or unskilled college kids just looking to toss plastic and another rating for experienced disc golfers. The first rating would be pretty low considering the lack of signage and safety issues. The rating, for players who know what they're doing would be much higher. Since it's pretty much the latter players who will find DGCR that's that rating I'm assigning... but be aware and beware for first timers or novice players this is not a friendly course.
The tee for the original hole #9 is still there after the redesign and when you see it you can understand why. That's an awesome hole that unfortunately doesn't play in the existing configuration. Since my group started on hole #13 we finished on #12 whose fairway crosses the teebox for original hole #9. So when we finised our round we emptied our bags throwing on the 362' original #9.
