Being the Grounds Keeper for this course ...I'm a bit bias. But I am confident that this course will be one of the cleanest DG courses you'll ever play. With high hardwood canopy, this course is for the most part shady and comfortable on hot sunny days. Tee signs on every hole indicate all three pin positions, distance, par to C pin, and direction of next tee. Also, on the tee marker post, a dial indicates what position the pin is in. Next Tee signs positioned on every fairway. Water fountains are between holes 6&7, 15&16, and along fairway of 20. Garbage cans on #5, 12, 14, 19, 20, 22, & 27. Practice basket available at parking lot. Map and tournament info on bulletin board also at parking lot (Website has scorecard and map). Benches at holes #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, & 21. Multiple pins make this a wonderful course for every type of player. When front 18 are in the C position the Par is 70 (WCP=68). One of the best courses I've ever played. Outstanding local club works hard at maintaining the course and has excellent relationship with wonderful park staff and personnel.

Mostly wooded course makes for a lot of clean up after a windy storm. Course could use more water fountains...so bring a water bottle on a hot day.

Designed by Joe "The Technician" Mela. I recommend that you stay in the fairway. Winter and Summer leagues with flexible start times. Lots of women players. Great Grounds Keeper that goes by "Willie"...don't let him catch you littering...(including cig butts) its a $300 fine. This club takes "keeping the course clean" very seriously!

This course plays through the woods, with lots of elevation changes. The interesting thing with this course is the use of multiple Tee pads and pin locations. Each hole was set to one of these 3 locations (A,B,C). It seemed to vary per hole, and I assumed the difficult for the hole increased depending on that setting. All the holes were marked with signs, however the signs weren't very accurate. Large, level concrete pads were set with plenty of running room for strong drives. The majority of the holes were long, with only a few short finesse holes sprinkled in. This course will push your skills, but more it'll push your stamina for long drives over and over again. There were lots of elevation changes on this course as well. Some of the pins were also elevated on man-made bunker boxes.

Get ready to hike. This course is spread out. Several holes end with lots of hiking to the next tee. There were a few times we got lost trying to find the next hole (especially after hole 13, the trench hole?!) Bring water, we didn't see any water fountains while playing, and this is a demanding course.

We played on one of the hottest, most humid days of this year. 90+ with a real feel of 104. It was intense, but we were glad the majority of the holes played through the woods. Once we got to 17 and 18, sweat was just pouring off of us.

I liked this course, it was really challenging. If you're looking for something that's going to test you drive accuracy and distance, this is the course for you.

Great 27 hole course and surprisingly clean. I love the elevated baskets and the tree walls.

Challenging island hole.

Huge course with a beautiful challenging layout. Most holes are wooded with five open holes that make good use of OB to keep you accurate. Makes you use a variety of drives from the tee. 3 pin placements per hole (sometimes more) and positions are changed regularly giving the course a different layout most times you come out. Also some of the positions (14C2, 13B, 9C, 3C, 6C) are the best I've ever seen. On occasion the course will have all baskets in C position for tournament play and will provide you with one of the most unique, challenging and fun days of golf you'll have. Lots of Elevation change and a number of elevated pins. trash cans at many holes is also a plus, as park is very clean. Tyler is also host several tournaments a year, a number of them PDGA. Great Course. Great challenge. Best I've ever played.

Needs Permanent C Pins on holes 3, 8, 12, 15, 18, 23, 24, 27. (For starers) Wood pile blockades are getting redundant.

*11/16/14 update. Course is in transition and a bit of disarray. A lot of baskets replaced with PVC target poles, all holes renumbered and signage completely off. Hope this isn't for long

When the course is in the C position...Watch out because it will be a tough round. (but fun)! Course is mostly in woods and when in C position is a great challenge. Great use of land and although some holes looked alike, they each had there own challenge. 5-6 of the holes in the c-position have raised baskets, and almost every pin location has its own challenge to get to. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed the course. The course can teach you to become a great golfer as accuracy, and distance is essential and there is enough elevation change to keep it interesting

As mentioned previously 27 holes with various tee and pin positions. Plays thru the woods then opens up to finish. A must play! Host of the Tyler Jr. Jam which is how I got introduced to it. Caddying for my son just didn't satisfy the urge and ended up staying afterwards and throwing the entire course after walking it thru 18 holes. Well groomed paths between baskets.

Definitely want to bring the hikers and a little tricky trying to follow the scorecard map.

Great work improving the course. Adding the extra 9 holes complements the the already varied course layouts. See ya at the Great Eastern Am championship and the Yetter.

Lots of variety with the different pin placements. Holes are nicely spread out through the woods. A few open holes mix it up. Some tough uphill holes as well. Nice concrete tees. Well marked. New hole 27 is a fantastic island hole.

Bathrooms are locked during winter. No water comes into play for you OB fans, though there is some asphalt to worry about. Beginners will have trouble because if a pin is in position C, there's not much they can do to make the hole shorter.

Well worth the drive. Great challenge and variety, plus a ton of picnic tables. New hole 20 is just too demanding... a long, narrow uphill chute that absolutely punishes bad shots. Oh, and lately 23 has been in the terrifying B position. Seems like they're trying to turn this into even more of a championship caliber course! After playing over 20 courses and playing here for a year, including 2 amazing tournaments, I have upgraded my rating and it is now my first 5-disc course!

3 pin positions. Concrete tees. Great facilities. Adequate parking. Lots of varied terrain. Lots of support from local players and DCNR staff.

Bring your hiking shoes. Good footing is needed while hiking throughout the park.

27 great holes....9 more temp holes when the Yetter is played. Primo course....must play if your in SE PA!

Lots of variety; challenging both for distance and accuracy; generally in good shape

Difference in distances for pin placement on some holes - 5 can be 307 or 797 feet, 14 can be 230 or 711, 23 can be 203 or 587 - hard to know what your round may be like until you get to each hole.

Mostly wooded, a couple of open holes. It's nice to have the extra 9 holes to play, and 19-27 are easier than 1-18.

27 of the best holes I have ever played! The course rolls up and down some good elevation changes and and there are three pin locations, and they are frequently rotated. In the long pins, the course can easliy play out to about three miles. Some elevated baskets allow for a challenging putting experience. Wooded holes are not all tight with excellent concrete tees. Except for grass in summer, the course is well kept and maintained. I like some of the changes on the course. 21 is an excellent "empty your bag" ace challenge, especially in the 210 ft. "A" position. The 27th hole in the "C" is one of the toughest holes I've played in a long time. It's an island green, and with the long grass OB as well as the parking lot, and lots of trees to your right, this one screams "new signature hole"!

Not sure what the long grass warning is for. Signs were helpfully posted, but didn't offer up an explanation.

Many tournaments occur here. This is easily one of the best courses in eastern PA and a must include in an area DG tour. Kudos to all who put this wonderful stop together! Ten minutes from I-95.
