Great Mature Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 27, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

I have been looking forward to playing this course all summer and was not disappointed. This course has some of the best "fixtures" of any course I have played. The tees are all concrete, many are elevated and there are multiple tees on many of the holes (some are a little smaller but serviceable). The painted tee signs are great and the little dials below the signs indicating the basket position are awesome. This is really important because many of the baskets are not visible from the tee. Many of the basket placements are also unique. There are a lot of raised baskets, protected baskets and even one I saw that was raised and between the roots of two trees.
The holes have a good mix of right and left dog legs. I have read a lot of comments about the length of the "short" basket placements in earlier reviews. I must have gotten lucky because most of the holes were in the "C" or long configuration when I played. Plus this course boasts 27 solid holes any of which can be challenging. The challenge comes from its heavily wooded nature (most of the holes), the sharp turns of the dog legs, the length in some cases (if the basket is in the C position), the background of shots and some great risk v. reward shots. I would like to mention hole 9 in particular. my second shot landed about fifteen feet from the basket which is usually a low risk shot. However, this basket ("C" position) is right in front of a sharp drop off. If you don't sink the putt or at least get it to land flat your disc could easily roll right off the hill. Fortunately I did make this one.
This is a very well kept course and while it is predominantly wooded (17 and 18 are like a breath of fresh air) I really never had any difficulty locating my disc because of the lack of underbrush. There are also some interesting barriers that have been set up throughout the course to keep players honest (as if there needed to be more barriers) such as stacks of logs, zig-zaged log fences to discourage rollers I guess (hole 19) and embankments to require straight shots. The fairways on many of the holes are tight but they are not unfair. I could see Iron Hill, DE being a lot like this course in ten years or so (except Iron Hill being a bit longer).

Cons:

There are only a couple of minor issues that I noticed with this course.
1) This is a busy multi-use park and there were even a good number of runners/bikers/walkers when I was playing on a Thursday afternoon.
2) Since there are so many holes in a relatively small space some of them can encroach on each other (5 and 19 for example).
3) The last issue that was a non issue for me (because most of the holes were in the C position) is having more than one permanent basket on each hole. I know this is a big expense but this is really the only thing that could be done to improve this course. I don't have a big arm but I noticed that many of my drives were going past the "A" placement with regularity. I can see how it would be frustrating for a pro level player who went out of his way to visit this course if all the pins were in the A or B configuration.

However, these minor issues only would compel me to rate this course as low as a 4.75 and because that is not possible I am rounding up to 5.0.

Other Thoughts:

As a new visitor the directions on the Course Info page are very important to me. They are good except that once on Rte. 413 you come to a stoplight at Swamp Rd.. If you follow signs for Rte. 413 you have to turn right. The park entrance is actually the left turn at this stop light. I was busy following Rte. 413 looking for an entrance off that road and blew right by the park. You actually travel a very short distance on Rte. 413 so slow down and watch for the Swamp Rd. intersection.

Pros:

27 holes of great times. Easily able to cut course down to 18 to your own desire as many people I came across there opted to do, however fully worth playing all 27. Course is never the same as 1 of the guys I played with called me today to tell baskets were diff. from when we went on Sunday.

Cons:

People are dicks and cut in and dick around. People are dicks everywhere and they should all walk off their respective cliffs.

Other Thoughts:

Great time, don't let the people ruin it for you just like any other course.

Pros:

When everything is in C position, this is one of the greatest/hardest courses I have played.

Cons:

When everything is in A for the beginners, you'll wish you went somewhere else. I second the vote for multiple baskets instead of the occasional movement of single baskets.

Other Thoughts:

I know it's a lame review--it's not really a review at all--I just wanted to rate my local course. Read the other reviews if you want specifics.

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 12, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well maintained, lots of variety between holes, not crowded, good signs at the tees showing the throwing path, good signs after the baskets helping you find the next tee, not much walking between holes.

Cons:

Only one basket per hole despite there being 3 possible baskets per hole. A little too woodsy for my tastes.

Other Thoughts:

I can see how if this was your local course it would be nice for things to be a little different each time. But for people who life far away and will only come here once, having to miss out on a potentially fun hole because only the 200ft novice basket is in place is lame. Just put up all 3 baskets and let the players decide which to play, its not like baskets are that expensive.

Great signs that will never leave you confused, and next tee signs. Awesome layout that will challenge you, while leaving many birdie and even eagle opportunities for the disc golf gifted. The course is maintained very well. The A, B, C basket positions. The long/short tees on 2 holes(7, and 12 i think). This course is filled with pros!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons:

The only con is hole 6, i don't like water coming into play, or steep slopes.

I saw the head of the BCDGA Bigdog. He and the fellow members come out every weekend to maintain the truly awesome course. Tyler rules!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

1) Concrete tee pads, some time multiple pads.
2) A-B-C pin placements.
3) if the many trees are enough of an obstacle, stacked wood piles in the fairway add to the challenge.
4) left and right legs.
5) mulitple lines to choose from.
6) excellent signage, from the time you enter the park until you leave.
7) 27 holes although we only played 18.
8) Proximity to route 95 (less than 10 minutes away).
9) We ran into 2 guys from allentown, about 40 miles away, who came to play here. this is a testimonial to how good it is.

Cons:

1) a bit crowded (I live in upstate NY so I am not used to highly used courses)
2) not close enough to my house.

I will definitely play this course whenever I am in the Philly area. A must play course.

TP DG 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Apr 3, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is my local course. After seeing other courses in the area I must say Tyler Park is top notch. Majority of holes curve or dog leg left. ( good for right handed hyzers) Only two holes with a Mandatory (again both mandos are setup nice for a right handed hyzer) Multiple holes mean different play everytime. Holes A and B are great for recreational play or beginners but the C holes changes the hole play dramatically. No bad water hazards except for the swamp to the right and down the hill on Hole #6. Course is well kept year round. Rain run off is superb. Water fountains and restrooms on upper and lower parts of course. (closed during winter) Lastly the people, disc golfers and the public, are very friendly. Don't feel embarassed if you drilled that pine tree 8 feet ahead of you a good recovery shot can get you back on track on any hole at this marvelous park. Happy Chain Hunting

Cons:

Only thing keeping this park from being a perfect 5 for 5 is not enough field holes, lack of water hazards and too many short holes. I've heard some advanced players down talk this park because the A and B holes are too easy to deuce. (I like them for the easy ace chance) Park can be very crowded with disc golfers or just anybody walking so be prepared to yell "Fore".

Other Thoughts:

This course is very technical in the sense of choosing lanes between trees and avoiding steep downward hills. This course does have elevation changes that makes you tweak your shot slightly. ACCURACY AND CONTROL is the way to sucess being that around 21 of the 27 holes are in wooded area...no one likes being a lumber jack. SIDE NOTE: Avery Jenkins played in the Eric C. Yetter Memorial Champions Cup here and was heard saying , "I have had enough of this course". During this event the Pin positions are located mostly in C...which you only see around once a year. So if you've never seen the hidden beast that The Enchanted Forest can so easily become I highly suggest visiting the week prior the Eric C. Yetter Tournement.
Also, the course pro Joe Mela and the BCDGA members bust their butts to make this a gem of a course.

Pure Pleaseure to play! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 27, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

WOW! where do I start. I played at 8:15am after a big rain storm the night before. You would hardly know the course had been rained on for several hours the day and night before. Drainage here is wonderful and I had no problem with slipping and sliding.

Each basket is laid out well with signage that is nice to see and very functional. At the base of each sign was a dial that told you which basket to use since there is at least 3 on each (except 4 where it tells you which tee to use). Several of the baskets have both a long and short tee. The signage was always on the long one. Also the signs for directions to the next tee are very easy to follow and accurate.

The baskets play well and the areas around them are maintained so that putting is not a chore. The tee pads look to be in a state of being updated because some were small (tee 1) and others were very nice and large which shows these people care. This was very early spring and as yet the undergrowth was not an issue. It does look like maybe it could be later but only sparingly and most of those places are marked as mandos or OB. There use of logs as benches was a nice touch. Each tee had a 4x4 to hang a bag from.

There is plenty of elevation change here that will challenge your ability but nothing as drastic as Campgaw Reservation.

In the first 16 it is in the woods and there are some long ones in there. Once you break out onto 17 you get to start really airing some out.
So there is a nice mix of technical holes and grip and rip if you play all 27. One of the things I noticed is the nice variety of left to right and right to left throws. Some of them even give you the choice to go either way. This is a very nice feature here.

There are 2 baskets I will never forget. Nine was awesome to me because of the accuracy needed to avoid a very long hike down a hill that is all down the left of the fairway and about 30 feet behind the basket. If it does get away there are steps built into the side to go down and retrieve your disc. They also take you to the tee at 10. The other was 12 long. You will test everything you have one this one. Both a technical and a grip and rip. Choose your poison here and hope for the best.

This is a state park and there are water fountains in several areas. However they were turned off because of the time of the year. There are bathroom facilities on 2 places but both were closed for the season and the only bathroom was at the boathouse.

Because this is a state park, and as always PA does a nice job, this is a very well maintained place to play.

Parking here looks to be plentiful.

Cons:

Not to many to speak of. There is no sign, when entering the park, to direct you to the proper parking lot to start. But if you take the map and follow it you will be fine. Five, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, and 15 are near roads and you will need to pay attention. Only 8 was real bothersome though. It is a hard right to left that follows the road. If you throw it too straight one of the many joggers/walkers I saw cold get hit. The only other thing is if you only play the first 18 there is no sign to direct you back to the parking lot.

Other Thoughts:

This is a course for everyone. It will challenge the best and because of the signage and condition of the course even a novice will have a good time. I cannot wait to play here again.

getting better each time 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 29, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

I have played Tyler at least once a year since it opened about 10 years ago and it just simply gets better each time here.

The work and maintenance done on each and every wooded hole is tremendous! 23 of the 27 holes are in the woods yet have true 'fair'ways. Great use of elevation changes. Very well marked course, the next tee signs, the dial indicating the pin position, and orange number plates on each basket all help you navigate the course easily. Large cement tees and more wood chips than any other course that I've seen. Some elevated baskets add to the challenge of the course.

The new wall and puting green on hole 5 is a great improvement.

Cons:

There are some long walks in between some holes but it is well marked. Print a map for the 1st time through, it will help with these long walks.

Other park activity such as joggers and dog walkers on the paved trails can
interfere with your game or the course.

Other Thoughts:

Close to I-95 and other commerce if needed. The Bucks County DG group needs to be commended for their work on this course, it rocks!

Pros:

Every tee is concrete and kept clean. Each hole offers it own version of a challenge whether it be tight trees or length. Plenty of signs showing where the next tee is. Each tee has the hole mapped out and even a "dial" that has the pin location listed (A, B, C). Course is kept very clean, even in the colder months. 27 holes, and none are really the same. A good test of ability for all level of players.

Cons:

If you're a very skilled player a couple of the pins may seem too easy for you.

Other Thoughts:

I've never played a course that is this well taken care of. It honestly seemed like a crew of people goes out every morning and prepares the course. All the signs are very nicely done. The fact that its in a State Park really gives it that quiet private feel to it. First course 18 hole course i've played where I was never searching for the next hole.

The "True" Tyler Rating 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 1, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Multiple pin placements, T-pads on some. Basically this course isn't a one show pony. The "A" pins are meant for recreational/ newbie/ junior players, but the B & C pins or any combination make this a true Pro course. Tight, wooded, & long as ever want. If you really want to challenge your skills then come for a top tournament here. Tyler brings in so many recreational, & "just for fun players" that it can't afford to always be in the pro pin positions or mostly.

Cons:

There are a few holes that even if you get a pristine drive for the longer pin positions there seems to be no set route to follow.

Other Thoughts:

This is my home course, & I can sympathize with those who come for a casual round about the easy pin positions, but what people have to remember is Tyler brings in a TON of recreational & "just for fun players". If your making a one day trip then you will most likely find tyler in shorter, why waste my time positions. If the course was always in the hard pins no one would want to play(other then disc golf fanatics, in which case nobody new will come into the game). Honestly, with how tight most the holes are treewise, I laugh at all the players that ask for longer distances most the time. Cuz when the course is in pretty much all 220' tightly wooded holes they cant even shoot par. I'm not trying to be insulting, but before people complain cuz you can't air out your non impressive drives, at least have your short game on the pro level before you waist others times with your inaccurate reviews of the course, it sounds harsh but regadless of layout noone has dominated the Tyler tourny seen & we have some top pros in the country as regulars at our tourneys. Goodluck & Good Discin!!

An Amazing course with a mixture of open and wooded holes. With 3 different hole positions you really never go back playing the same layout, some holes are along a man made waterfall which is just amazing and even though it is a long 27 hole day there are many water fountains, rest spots, and just nice scenary to relax and just say "wow"

Cons:

well its a 27 hole course to be prepared to stay there for a very long time because once you start you really just cant stop since like previously said it doesnt go in 9 hole increments. Also many disc golfers there when i went so there was a lot of waiting or speeding up you hole. pedestrians can also be a problem because some holes are over or near the park path just keep an eye on your disc because i lost a disc due to a person taking it when i wasnt looking

Other Thoughts:

all and all an amazing course that i would go back to time after time. im even entering in my first tournament in july over there. i would recommend this to any disc golfer because those of you that haven't played this course.... you dont know what your missing :)

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 10, 2008 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course covers a lot of ground and, as such, you get to play a lot of different types of holes. There are open holes and tight, wooded holes. The holes are mostly wooded, but not too much so. There are some really spectacular views and some really tough shots. The course is very fair. A good shot gives you a fair chance at a birdie (depending on the pin position). These wooded fairways do what I think disc golf is supposed to do: control the flight of a disc in different ways. There was always a way and I don't think I ever felt like throwing my hands up in the air because I didn't know how I was going to drive the fairway.

I loved the wooded fairways. The trees and large branches that had fallen were used to line the fairway in several holes, which made the course feel really nice.
There is a wonderful system for marking which pin placement the basket is currently in. When I was there, it did not appear to be a pattern for where the pin placements were.

The course was really well marked and I was never lost on the course.

Cons:

There seems to be a lot of luck on which course you will actually play. When I went, I ended up playing a lot of the A position baskets, which generally were easier. That disappointed me some because many of the other placements looked so neat. Also, their pin placements are drastically different - so drastic that comparing scores across several layouts is pointless. Many of the A position baskets are 3s, no doubt. The C position baskets would add several strokes to even the best disc golfer. I appreciate the variety that this gives to those people who play the course every week, but for me who will only get to play it a few times a year (if that) it is a little sad to play a 250' hole, walk the rest of the hole imagining what shots I would be taking if only the basket were placed elsewhere.

That really is my biggest critique of the course, which in the grand scheme of things is minute. Another thing that I would list as a negative: there are long walks between some of the holes (another small thing).

Other Thoughts:

I loved the final hole where the 27 pin was in the "island" of the driveway turnaround. (This was one of the few C positions I got to play.) I am of the thinking that more tee pads, fewer baskets is a better decision in the long run, and this course is a prime example of why. I hope when you go, you get to play some of the holes I didn't. Although, I am looking forward to going back and trying out some of those C positions.

What a course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 6, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Wow, this course really made me enjoy disc golf. I haven't played many courses but this one presented itself to me as a top notch course. Where to start?
When you pull into the park there are signs leading you to the disc golf parking lot/course, how cool. There is a giant bulletin board with all sorts of course info and a map. At the first tee and every other tee there's a hole layout and a spiny thing to let you know which position the pin is currently in. That might be the best thing I've ever seen, most courses don't really care if you know which position the pin is at. There are also signs pointing to the next tee, usually there are multiple signs!!! To make things wonderful there are bag hangers at every hole!!!! wow!! I didn't have to put my bag in the snow at all! Benches too! Did I mention that all tee pads are concret and large enough to get things done.

As for the layout of the course:
Every hole has 3 pin positons and sometimes 4. They are moved on a cycle every 3 weeks and for tournaments. Keeps things really spicy and interesting. That's nice for people who want to better their score, knowing that they will be back to that "desired" position in a few weeks. Most A positions are easy and B's are also not that bad. C's are nuts, I'm not sure how someone can bomb a disc 500+ feet down a 10-30 foot fairway and not hit any trees. Maybe god can. Being from Florida I don't get to play in some seriously heavly wooded coures, that challenge was great. Every shot is very technical, well most are. Some holes have serious eleveation change and others have a huge risk/reward factor. Too many holes for me to remember details about each one but they all are special in their own way, just like us when we were little... The use of logs and other wood items make some holes challenging and senic. I'm sure it's a whole other ball game where there isn't 6 inches of snow. Something new I've never seen before was the use of mandatory trees/markers, your disc has to goto the left or right of the tree otherwise it's a stroke and a drop in the drop zone. Great idea, it makes short holes much more challenging. Great course, loads of fun.

Cons:

Cons, hmm not many, the course is pretty nifty and I didn't have some of the other problems other players had. Hmm there's gotta be one... OH there were no score cards, OMG pisses me off sooo much, hahaha I didn't even know course gave out score cards until this trip up north.

Other Thoughts:

What an experience, I'm bummed I only got to play this course once. Plan was to play it at least twice but I met up with some guys and it took a bit longer. I would definatly drive back here to do it again if given the oppertunity. It's a great course with a dedicated group of guys taking care of it. I learned a few things I'm going to try and implement at my home course. My experience was in the winter with no leaves and lots of snow, I'm sure this course is completely different in the summer and spring. If this site ranks this course seventh, Flip city and Idylwild better be amazing. Off to Warwick next to give it a spin.

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 15, 2008 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Plenty to like here. I love this course. The tee signs are the best I have ever seen with the knobs turned to the exact pin location. The woods are dense but well groomed so there is really minimal undergrowth or shule to waste your time looking for your disc in. Some of the trees are marvels in themselves. Unique artificial hazzards such as palisade walls and elevated pins and woodpiles that enhance rather than detract from the experience. decent tee pads. More than one tee pad for most holes. Big clean bathrooms. Big Clean course. I love 27 holes over 18. 18 never seems to be enough so 27 is appreciated. Some really fun elevation and good use of stream beds, sloping cliffsides, a couple of big open field shots that break up the woods a bit. Water fountains on the course. Plenty of parking and information available. This course seems to improve for the better every time I go there. Teaches you to control your drives rather than just blast away recklessly. Plenty of people playing so it is usually easy to ask advice or follow another group around if your unsure where the next hole is. Good summer course gets you out of the sun. Good winter course gets you out of the wind.

Cons:

I am sure gonna make some enemies here. I have to be honest, and this is just one man's opinion. I personally wish the course had permanent C position baskets and multiple tee pads rather than always moving the baskets. I really want to experience this course in the long positions but it seems to always be in the beginner or mixed allignment. So unlike other premier courses you show up and don't always get a chance to challenge yourself with really really amazing long distance golf. The difference is huge here too. Many holes are 200-500 ft longer depending on pin positions. I would finish a 300 foot hole and see another pin position like 200-300 feet up a ravine and think damn that looks fun. SIGH! The open field holes are nice but the grass is a real nuisance to the right of the fairway.....A tractor could take care of that in 3 minutes. Come on Park Service give the volunteers a hand... I don't mind grass that is a little higher than the fairway as a hazzard but when it is beyond waist level it is a bit obnoxious. In disc golf, the hazzard should be too your score, not your time(endless fruitless search), your health(itchy and ticky), wallet (lost discs), and good mood(lost disc that was your favorite). I never understand why people insist on hazzards being so punitive. Losing a disc can ruin your whole day if it is a disc you rely on as part of your game. Of the 27 holes I think 23 are totally wooded. Not much chance to break out your Big Texas Arm haha. Seems to be plenty of big huge deerfields here I wish they had a few permanent open holes to counter the woods a bit. (update: played course in the longs and frankly it's too much hallway golf. As in the fairways are too tight for the length of the fairways. This is not sour grapes...many players better than me feel the same way. I'm not sure what the ratio of fairway width to length is but Tyler in the Cs breaks it)

Other Thoughts:

This course has some people who really care about her. The amount of work that has gone into it is stellar. I am sure one day they will purchase or collect some extra used baskets and there will be permanent long positions. I will come back and raise my score then. Some of the holes seem rather tight for their distance. But I am putting that here and not as a con because this may be a reflection of my playing ability and did not affect my rating. I guess all my bitching about high grass is always remedied by the fact that I usually find a lost disc when I lose my own. I would suggest anyone in the area to come play Tyler it is worthwhile and it is not far from I 95 in Pennsylvania or the PA Turnpike. A must play for beginners and experts alike.

Tyler State Park is one of the best DG courses. It is 27 holes of beautifully manicured, well-kempt, amazing disc golf. Tyler offers almost everything one could want in a disc golf course.
All holes but #4, 5 & 14 have three pin placements: hole 4 has one, but three tee pads and holes 5 & 14 which have 4 pin placements each. All of the teepads are concrete and are in excellent condition. The course has amazing signage on the course. Every hole features a layout of the hole, lengths, par and what placement the pin is in. Although some of the holes are separated by a short walk the paths are clearly marked where to go.
The vast majority of the holes are mildly to heavily wooded, but there are also 5 open holes. Several of the holes require very accurate shots in order to avoid steep slopes into Neshaminy Creek. Hole 9's new C pin placement is on the edge of a sloping drop into the creek, making an overshot very dangerous. Hole 14 in the C2 pin placement is in the Y part of the trunk of a tree, offering one of the most unique pin placements. Tyler also features several elevated basket positions. Elevation is very varied with a good selection of level, uphill and down hill shots. The last 9 (19-27) were recently renovated with several holes being moved and rearranged (Holes 21 and 22 are entirely new). The course is also long, with several of the holes in the C pin position reaching 700+ feet, so be prepared for a strenuous round of DG. The course is very challenging and when all of the holes are in C par is 102 for all 27 holes.
The park has plenty of areas for picnicking and there are restrooms at several points on the course.

Cons:

Its hard to find a con with Tyler State Park, but ...
The park service gets lax cutting the rough during the summer months and it can get unruly.
Water is lacking, so bring your own, and the restrooms close during the winter.
One thing I have begun to notice as I develop a fuller X-step is that some of the tee-pads are a bit small ... not all, but a few are.

Other Thoughts:

Hole 10 in the C position is my personal favorite hole. The approach crosses a small creek to a pin placement behind a low stone wall for a picturesque hole.
If you are looking for a place to eat, Chick-fil-A is right across the street. That's where all the local DGers go after a round.
Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance features several great tournaments, doubles, several leagues and other fun activities for disc golfers of all ages. Tyler is also home to the Eric C. Yetter Cup.
There are always areas of improvement at any course, but Tyler merits a 5 rating. You will not be disapointed if you play this course.
This course is a must play for anyone looking to play a challenging top-notch course.

Excellent course 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Very well marked course. Every hole has a colored wood engraving showing exactly how that hole is layed out. It is very well maintained and you can see that people take pride in the course. There were many challenging holes and some unique fun holes. Of the 27 holes, I only remember about 5 that play in open areas so be prepared to beat up your discs as you are playing in the woods most of the time.

Cons:

Long course; it is 27 holes and it doesn't really play in nine hole increments. So you can't just play 1-9 or 10-18 or 19-27 and end up back where you started. However, every hole is worth playing so just make sure you set aside enough time to play all 27.

Other Thoughts:

I played this course while in Newtown on business travel. I am so glad I took the time to play! My first night out I meet up with a couple of the locals. One of them was the Director of Maintenance and he was a blast to play with. He took a lot of pride in the course and it showed. I highly recommend this course, a must play if you are ever in the area!

Pros:

I agree that this is one of the most well marked courses I have played. It is the best course I have played to this point. the variety of holes is terrific, it is quite challenging and yet no holes (I think) are impossibly long or dense. Elevated chains are fun and frustrating all at once. I recommend taking a break after hole nine and sit on the rock over looking the water. It is a very satisfying round of disc golf.

Cons:

None

Other Thoughts:

It is a pretty long round so come prepared!

Pros:

27 baskets, Multiple pin and tee placements, restrooms, water fountains, trash cans near many tee pads, concrete tee pads, many par 4 holes as well as a few par 5, baskets placements changed frequently, and not to mention a host club that works hard to make this course the best it can be.

Cons:

restrooms near course close in winter months, a few fountains do not work

Other Thoughts:

This course is host to the only A tier PDGA event in Eastern Pennsylvania, and also hosts a C tier event in the late spring, the host club also organizes about 5 non-PDGA sanctioned events per year, in addition the club runs two leagues per year.
