Pros:
-Good Accuracy challenge on some holes
-Well kept signs, pads and baskets
-Nature friendly course playing through tallgrass prairie and large woods
-Alternate tee pads at most holes
Cons:
-Most holes were extremely easy to lose a disc on, either in tall grass or weeds
-There were Holes with no good path to the basket
-VERY THIN fairways cut out of prairie will make it very hard to find your disc if you don't keep it in
-A lot of short (low 200's) shots through a tunnel of woods which was not that amusing to me.
-I got lost many times trying to figure out where the next tee was.
-I had to feed a parking meter because I could not find any free public parking
Other Thoughts:
Playing through a prairie is more frustrating than fun. Still I would say that this course right now is worth the drive within 10 miles
Ways this course could be improved
-Widen prairie fairways, in some cases by a factor of 2
-Control the growth of weedy vegetation
-Make sure every hole has at least one delineated path to the basket
