Pros:
The course plays through a sprawling park with a couple nice elevation changes, a great view over the lake, and lots of great mature trees. The majority of holes play through the trees with multiple lines and limited rough. A couple holes use the large drop off to the lower level of the park as a hazard along the fairway, and a couple holes bring the lake into play, so there is some level of risk here.
There are decent concrete tees that are in pretty good shape. There are next tee markers at all the baskets, some funny walks here but if you pay attention at the previous hole it's not too difficult to follow. The baskets are older, but catch ok.
Cons:
There are no tee signs, and lots of baskets that aren't immediately visible from the tees, so you'll have to do lots of extra walking if you like to know where you're throwing. The course gets a little repetitive, most of the holes feel pretty similar and, and too many are a little too open to provide much challenge or interest. Despite the next tee markers, it's easy to get turned around here, especially with no numbering at the tees to help you know you're on the right hole. There are a couple of holes that use the more wooded areas of the park, more of these holes would be great here. The road comes into play a couple times, taking away from the feel of the course, and possibly causing some safety issues.
Other Thoughts:
There are some nice holes here, especially the one playing down the hill toward the lake, but too many repetitive ones to make it all that interesting. Beginners will find it a little long, but not too punishing. More experienced players won't find too many different challenges here, and won't find many parts of their game really tested.
