Pros:
Playing between a track/football field and a treeline, West Franklin features a relatively easy collection of holes, but that still has some bite here and there. There are concrete tees, though most are pretty small, and while the elevation change isn't significant, it is present and interesting on several holes.
The course stays away from the rest of the school infrastructure quite well. The track is uphill from most of the course, so shots are unlikely to go over the fence. The construction of the track provides a little elevation change on the course that is certainly taken advantage of.
Hole 3 is probably the best hole on the course, playing under a low ceiling with a few trees in the way. If only a few more holes could be like that.
Cons:
A lot of holes are pretty open. Those are the first two and last four holes on the course, and while there's variance in distance and elevation, there isn't much overall to make them interesting.
Even the holes that do play around the woods have problems. Most are still pretty short and don't provide much challenge if you know what you're doing, and the woods themselves are quite thick and nasty, so there is still lost disc potential.
Staying away from the track meant the course doesn't have much that it can do. There's no room to air out any shots, hence the lack of distance. There's also a property line somewhere near the treeline, and while it doesn't cause problems with the existing layout, it means the woods can't be used in many interesting ways.
Navigation is spotty spotty overall, since the tees can be a little hard to find, and a few are shared with other bits of construction. The tees aren't marked, so I'm not actually sure I played everything in the right order.
Other Thoughts:
This may just look like a normal school course, but it isn't. It's on land of its own, giving it room for improvement. It still isn't fantastic, but it's decent for sure.
I don't think any holes need to be moved, but adding dedicated concrete tees would help with navigation, and some trees could be planted to make a few holes more spicy and separate some holes from each other.
