Pros:
only course on the island so far - that makes it the best! good luck finding baskets anywhere else! Scenic!
Cons:
local knowledge important; retrieval tool required
Other Thoughts:
When you arrive at a course and essentially see no obstacles (trees, etc) it would be understandable to think it easy. Ha! The wind here is majorly impactful, even on a light breeze day. Tee boxes rudimentary but sufficient, most baskets in sight from on or near the tee. Beware the thorns and cacti - while walking, throwing, retrieving, etc. also beware the sun and midday heat on a typical day. Mandos include: proper footwear, water, sunscreen, hat, retrieval stick with hook (available at Sol Food restaurant along with loaner discs, and sometimes even playing partners!) Good variety of uphill, downhill, sidehill and because you essentially play the course backwards on the back 9, you get all wind directions...and beware that wind - it is killer! (we even skipped a hole or two because of a beginner in our 4some).
